When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. He is a true professional who knows how to have fun. Prior to the wedding day, Matthew called us to discuss our music taste and he curated a perfect playlist for guests to enjoy during cocktail our. He works so well with the DJ and communicated with him prior to the wedding to ensure proper audio setup. Lets get to the reception. HE CAN PLAY ANYTHING. We let our DJ take the lead during the reception and Matthew was able to play along and compliment the variety of music the DJ played. He knows how to get the crowd going! The energy of the dance floor was unmatched! He played and danced with my guests and was so friendly with all the pictures. One of the most important things to us was having vendors that we felt we could connect with and who understood the vibe we wanted for the day. As soon as we reached out to Maggie we knew that she would be an amazing fit. She was thorough in her emails, and incredibly responsive- I never had to follow up with her or wait on her to answer questions. She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. On the wedding day, we had a few curveballs thrown at us due to weather, and Maggie was super flexible as our coordinator worked out the details. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. She also fully understood the vibe we were going for based on our must play/do not play lists, and chose the perfect songs all night (even an unprompted "Season of Love" during dinner that had me and my friends out of our seats singing on the dance floor lol). She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough.
