“Kyle was amazing to work with for our wedding! His communication throughout the planning process was always professional, quick, and organized. Kyle shared a detailed Google Doc with us to fill in with our personalized timeline of the day and preferences for music and announcements. About a month before the wedding, he scheduled a video call to go through that timeline step by step and to make sure he understood all of our requests. We shared specific songs we wanted for things like walking down the aisle and first dance and were able to share entire playlists of requests for things like music to play during cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception. On the day, Kyle was a rockstar. Everything was set up and ready to go well before our ceremony began. During the ceremony, the audio was excellent. From the volume of the music as we walked down the aisle, to the mics set up for us and our officiant, to the transition into our recessional, all of it was incredible. At the end of cocktail hour, Kyle pulled me aside just to review our entrance into the reception, which helped alleviate some nerves for me! And of course Kyle shined brightest during DANCING! He read the room, kept the energy high, and added in some awesome mixes and transitions that worked so well. We added on the photo booth and printer which was a huge hit! There were two print outs of each photo strip and you could even enter your phone number to get a digital version of the strip plus a video of all 4 photos rotating. This was super helpful especially for sharing large group photos. Kyle also sent us the digital copies of ALL of the photos and videos from the photo booth. We would highly recommend hiring Underfloor Music for your next event!”

He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. “The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

We had the pleasure of being recommended High Voltage by Swan Lake and little did we know just how great that recommendation truly was! From the minute that I began speaking with Anthony and Angelo, it was a similar experience as with finding Swan Lake– I knew they were our DJ’s! Not only did they have everything we could have ever wanted or needed equipment wise, but they were so motivated and excited to work our wedding! My consult at their office was completely informative and so easy! While I don’t think I was a difficult bride, I had big ideas haha. Being that Swan Lake has several rooms and different areas, and music was so important to Britt and I, I had a unique vision to have different music playing in different rooms of the venue. I was sooo prepared to be told it wasn’t possible! But they did it and it was absolutely AMAZING. We did not have a sit down dinner service, but more like an endless cocktail hour, so guests were moving around all night… Every room had a different vibe, with music to match, all throughout the evening!. You were listening to alternative/emo in the bar and the foyer.. Mellow electronic in the ballroom and non stop epic dance track after dance track on the patio dance floor ALL. NIGHT. Every room I walked in and out of was filled with people having THE best time! Every announcement was made properly, everything was ran by me throughout the night and the guys kept me consistently in the loop (thwarting several not so great requests haha). They brought in and installed the most glorious red, orange and yellow colored uplighting throughout the entire venue– which COMPLETED my fall themed decor, it looked absolutely stunning. The entire night looked and sounded so beautiful and such a HUGE thanks goes to the High Voltage team. Thank you for making my music and lighting dreams come true, guys!
