Hi! My name is Andrea and I'm the owner and lead designer here at The Flower Petal! I've been in this industry for about 7 years and I absolutely love what I do. I would describe my design style as loose/organic with a mix of whimsical and romantic. I LOVE color and getting the chance to work with more unique color palettes is my absolute favorite thing!

I started this business in 2013, but I’ve been working with flowers all my life. From seeing my grandfather’s pride in his rose garden, to kneeling in the garden while my dad showed me how to plant bulbs, to learning floristry as my mom and I created wedding flowers, I’ve done it all. I’ve studied wedding floristry with the Floral Design Instutue and have a bachelor’s degree from the horticulture department of The Ohio State University. When I’m not working on a wedding you’ll find me in the garden tending the dahlias, English roses, and peonies on our three acres. In the winter, I’m usually in the kitchen trying to emulate Guy Fieri.
