“My wedding day at The Lake House Inn was perfect from start to finish. Standing by the lake for the ceremony felt so peaceful and pretty—I couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The ballroom looked amazing for dinner and dancing, and the huge cocktail hour space let everyone move around easily inside and out. The food was delicious (thanks Jeffrey Miller Catering!), and Joe the bar manager was a total rockstar. Having 18 rooms meant my whole family and wedding party stayed over—it really felt like our own little weekend getaway. The fire pit at the end of the night was so cozy. Marina was so kind the whole time, and Kate kept everything on track without me worrying once. I’m so glad we chose this place!”

“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything. There were a few minor hiccups during the ceremony and reception (that were not caused by him), but he was able to be quick on his feet and keep the wedding flowing. The photo booth package he has available is a MUST! Guests were raving about the printouts and the quality of the photos! Attached is an example of what the printouts look like. These also can be sent to your phone and will be emailed to you the next day. We were beyond happy to with the energy, music selections, effort, and work Ryan put out for our wedding! “Our wedding at Terrain was truly everything we dreamed of and more. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, magical, warm, and full of charm in every corner. From the very beginning, Courtney was incredible to work with. She was so helpful in guiding us through logistics, clarifying details, and assisting with key decisions along the way. Her communication was consistent and clear, and we really got so much value out of our monthly checkpoint meetings with her. We also really appreciated that Terrain has recently added new options for micro weddings, including menu tastings and open bar packages, which weren’t available before. Those additions made a big difference in helping us create the kind of experience we wanted for our guests. Speaking of guests, everyone is still raving about the food! It was above and beyond what we expected, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Terrain does a wonderful job of creating an elegant yet affordable wedding experience, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to have clearer signage or attendants at the main entry points, since Terrain is also open to the public. A few of our guests got a little turned around and accidentally saw me in my dress before the ceremony. Having more direction for wedding guests would make the experience even smoother. Overall, though, our day was pure magic. The setting, the food, and the care from the team especially Courtney made it an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to start our marriage.”

“I just got married in the beginning of May and Julia was one of the SWEETEST wedding vendors I worked with! My aunt, who is a florist in Korea, was supposed to do my flowers but unfortunately got injured last minute which restricted her from traveling. I was freaking out trying to find a last minute florist 2 months before my wedding. I called a lot of places, and also remembered my one friend raving about Ruby Rivers Floral. Although they had availability, other florists seemed to be annoyed that it was so last minute. When I contacted Julia from Ruby Rivers, she was so sweet, professional, and understanding of my situation. She miraculously had availability for my Friday wedding and helped me come up with a quick game plan for my dream wedding flowers. Julia really goes out of her way to ensure that you have the perfect flowers you’ve dreamed about for your special day! I knew from the start that I wanted a classy look that involved only white flowers. She knew right away that I was going for an elegant and timeless look and suggested whites and creams with touches of green to really elevate the elegance to another level. She also suggested different types of textures to give my flowers that big luscious look that I wanted. Here you will find a pool table, TV, lounge seating area & more. In 2020 we built our Harvest Barn attached to the Seed Barn through a breezeway. This is home for our commercial kitchen, on-site bathrooms, smaller event space and bridal suite. Lastly, we have a Farm-to-Table bakery onsite for your dessert table & custom wedding cake. The Farm is truly a wonderful place to host your big day! Our goal is to work with each couple to carry out their vision for the day! What is great about The Farm is it truly can be anything you would like it to be, from a backyard barbecue to a beautiful sit down farm-to-table dinner! “Terrain Gardens is a stunning venue that perfectly catered to our every need. It felt just right for our wedding with 90 guests with both beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that were easily customizable to align with our vision. We played lawn games during the cocktail hour and reception, and we were able to tailor our reception floor plan to create an atmosphere that truly reflected us. We opted to add many florals through Design by Terrain, but even with fewer decorations, it would still feel complete. The food was standout and was a highlight for us and our guests. The steamed broccoli hors d'oeuvre may sound simple, but it became a crowd favorite. The gazpacho shooters also were a hit. Our grazing table was not only plentiful and delicious but also looked gorgeous! The entree options were delicious as well and received many compliments. We found at our tasting there was a lot of variety from more traditional options to more experimental options so most couples can find something that will fit them. The venue took our guests' dietary needs seriously, accommodating our best man's severe allergies with ease. The late-night pizza and cookie favors were also a huge hit! The staff at Terrain Gardens was exceptional. We worked closely with our venue coordinator, Olivia, for six months leading up to the wedding. She addressed every question and eased all our concerns. On the big day, the staff was polite, attentive, and hardworking. Our attendant, Stephanie, made sure we were never without food or drink and guided us seamlessly throughout the day. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and our signature cocktail received rave reviews. What truly sets Terrain apart is their commitment to ensuring that both the bride and groom enjoy their special day just as much as their guests. After the ceremony, we were escorted to the bridal suite, where we were greeted with a delightful display of our hors d'oeuvres and a mini version of our grazing table. This moment allowed us to unwind and savor a few precious minutes together before rejoining our guests—one of my favorite memories from the day. At the end of the night, the staff thoughtfully packaged our personal items and provided to-go boxes filled with an extra serving of each of our entrees.”
