“Review for Blenheim Hill Farm Blenheim Hill Farm was the wedding venue of our dreams. From our very first meeting, the owners, Min and Morten, went above and beyond to make us feel supported and cared for. They were personally involved every step of the way — from answering our endless planning questions, to leading us through the tasting, to being hands-on during our big day. The venue itself is picture perfect: set on over 100 acres of peaceful countryside, it offers both privacy and freedom — we loved that we could have a live band, late-night dancing, and even a custom firework show without worrying about noise ordinances. The charm of the working farm added such a special touch, from guests petting goats upon arrival to enjoying eggs fresh from the coop at our Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely incredible — so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. And when light rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, Min and Morten worked tirelessly to hold off the rain plan until the last possible moment; the skies cleared just in time, and their team quickly ensured every seat was dry and perfect. One small note for future couples: plan your guest transportation carefully. We had guests staying in Windham, which added a bit of stress with bus logistics — in hindsight, we’d recommend nearby Airbnbs or closer towns. Still, everything about our experience at Blenheim Hill Farm was magical, and we’re endlessly grateful to Min, Morten, and their team for helping us create a day we’ll cherish forever.”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Our West Gallery, located in the Arts-&-Crafts style Museum Pavilion, offers a unique setting for weddings. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the covered terrace and shaded courtyard, then dine and dance in an elegant gallery with hardwood floors, a cathedral ceiling, and three walls of windows and French doors providing access to the estate’s 200 acres of gardens and grounds. The West Gallery comfortably accommodates between 50 and 150 guests for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent Garden Lawn may also be rented for a ceremony overlooking the perennial gardens. For your convenience, the rental includes tables and chairs, a caterer’s kitchen, air conditioning, ample restroom facilities, and easy parking. Lauren, who started working there mid-way through the year, was an absolute godsend, patiently answering my and my family’s many questions and helping confirm all the details. She and Kelly were on hand throughout my wedding weekend, keeping everything running smoothly and beautifully. The space itself is stunning—all our guests and our photographer kept commenting on how gorgeous it was. The only hiccup was that my parents’ accommodation wasn’t available when they arrived. An alternative was provided, but it was understandably frustrating. Overall, though, the venue and the team made our wedding weekend truly special!”

“We got married at Bad Seed in June 2024. It was the first venue we toured and we knew it was perfect right away. Devin, Albert, Brandon, and the rest of the Bad Seed team are so down to earth and communicative. They gave us great advice about how to make our wedding day amazing. We wanted to DIY our decor and music, bring in our own food vendor, and have a casual garden party vibe. Bad Seed was super flexible, letting us choose whichever vendors we wanted and giving us tips for great service providers in the area. Because they only do one wedding per weekend, we had the entire day before the wedding to set up (which we needed!) as well as the entire morning/afternoon before the big event. There was always someone at the venue to help with whatever we needed, even going above and beyond to help us lay out the tables and set up decor. We wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans with a heat wave and thunderstorm moving through the area. On the bright side, Devin and the Bad Seed crew made sure we could do the whole event inside -- even going out to buy a big industrial fan to make sure the taproom stayed cool (we didn't end up needing it, the AC did its job!). Bad Seed is also SO reasonably priced compared to other wedding venues in the area. There was no nickel and diming or hidden fees - just an honest price and a great value. During the actual event, the bar staff went above and beyond to take care of us, checking in on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks so we didn't have to wait at the bar. It really made us feel like a million bucks. Oh, and our guests were raving about the cider :) If you're looking for an awesome, picturesque wedding venue in the Hudson Valley, Bad Seed should be your top choice.”
