“Tom was an amazing photographer! From the first day that we had a Zoom conference with him, we knew he would be a good fit for us. Communication was clear throughout the entire process (from our engagement photos to our wedding day photos) and he was always friendly and personable. He showed up on time for our wedding and worked well with everyone in our wedding party as well as our family members. He knew how to make us laugh and was more than a welcome guest on our special day. We are so happy to have found Tom in our search for a wedding photographer and could not be happier with the results. We truly felt that he took the time to get to know us and made our wedding day all the more special because of that. Do not hesitate to book Tom for your wedding or any other photo opportunities. Thank you, Tom!!”

Kathryn Cooper Weddings

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,600
  • Serves Queensbury, NY

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Kathryn has been a friend of mine for 20 years, so I've been following her growing business and incredible adventures around the globe for a long time. When I got engaged, I knew exactly who I wanted to do our engagement and wedding photos! Not only is she fantastic to work with, she loves opportunities for creativity and "outside the box" moments. I loved the idea of playing with light at night, so she found a color-changing light device to create incredible backgrounds for our night photos! I also loved that we hardly knew she and her second were there during the ceremony. She's sneaky and still gets the most beautiful photos! I cannot recommend my beautiful friend enough, especially if you're looking for someone LGBTQ friendly! Unfortunately, Google is not letting me upload photos, but please check out her website to see samples of her amazing work!”

Daniela Monzi Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $9,700
  • Serves Queensbury, NY

Daniela Monzi is a wedding and elopement photographer based in Philadelphia and San Francisco, available worldwide. Blending film and digital formats, she captures each celebration with intention and heart. Deeply passionate about couples celebrating their love their way, Daniela advocates for wedding days that feel true to who you are—filled with what brings you joy, and free of anything that doesn’t. She honed her craft at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she developed a distinctive style that merges fine-art composition with a candid, documentary approach. The result? Honest, artful imagery that tells your story exactly as it felt.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Dani and I have known each other for 15 years, which is wild within itself. I’ve watched her photography journey for a long long time. Which is why the second we got engaged I KNEW we would hire her. We had an engagement shoot, as well as an “our day” vow shoot. Let me tell you, my husband and I are very much “guide us and we’ll follow” people. We’re indecisive, we’re go with the flow people, and that’s not always easy to work with. Dani from day one has guided us and taken care of EVERYTHING. From giving us options/ideas and brainstorming, to nailing the plans in place once we decided what we wanted to do. We had our vow day shoot in the Dolomites in Italy. Sebastian and I have never traveled like that together and Dani literally planned everything including what hike we were taking and timelined everything out. Which is exactly what we explained we needed and were looking for when working with her. She took everything we wanted and what we explained we wanted each experience to be like, and she nailed it. Nailed the photos. Nailed the locations. Nailed being an all around fantastic and easy person to work with. She also stayed in contact with us throughout the entire 2 years we have been planning together. She was our cheerleader, our planner, our listening ear, without a doubt I would recommend her to everyone and anyone. Not to mention these photos are to die for, and everyone is obsessed!”

Fairytale Dreams Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,600
  • Serves Queensbury, NY
  • Offer

Photography for people who dread being photographed. With 15+ years specializing in camera-shy couples, I've learned that your wedding is not a generic fantasy from the interne, it's a legacy. The industry pushes couples to perform for the camera, but when you already feel awkward being photographed, that pressure can erase the real, unscripted story of your people. My approach is built for humans who hate being photographed. I create an experience that melts stiffness and anxiety so the raw, honest truth of your connection shows up and the story of everyone who matters is protected.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Here’s the thing: my husband (!) and I are awkward, full stop. Once a camera is involved, we both get full blown weirdo paralysis. Photos were the part of the wedding we were dreading most. Yet Cass showed up and somehow made us feel completely at ease. The time flew by, the love and joy flowed freely and, from what we’ve seen so far, the images reflect it. Cannot recommend Cass enough.”

Welcome! And Congratulations! I am a Wedding & Family Photographer based in Plattsburgh, NY. I grew up in Charlotte, VT where I fell in love with Lake Champlain and all the beauty that Vermont has to offer. When I am not behind the camera capturing the authenticity of my clients moments I am spending quality time with my husband, his two beautiful children and our two dogs. Christopher Duggan Photography

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
“Working with Christopher and his team was the absolute best! From the beginning they were so thoughtful and informative every step of the way. Christopher eased our jitters by recommending a fun pre-wedding photoshoot before our rehearsal dinner which we would've never thought to do but absolutely loved. His calming presence throughout the wedding day made it so easy for us to relax in the moment, this sense of calm and joy was perfectly captured in our photos. Following our wedding, we worked with his design team on our wedding album. They too made this part of the process seamless, we were able to make decisions swiftly and with ease because of their expertise and support. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience or results!”

From the first hello, he made everyone feel comfortable and confident, and his presence added to the fun rather than feeling staged or stressful. My name is Ali Cushing; a NY-based photographer working in a blended documentary and editorial approach, emphasized with a cinematic method, and a personalized, true to life editing style. I am honored to be entrusted with depicting genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizing precious memories. I see beauty in the subtle details as much as the wide, epic scene, while I see glory in the mundane in-between moments as much as the heart thudding highs. Thalia is a wedding photographer based in NYC and available worldwide. Inspired by art, music, and the quiet moments in between, she brings a calm, intentional approach to the way she documents weddings. With over 11 years of experience, she works closely with her couples from planning through the wedding day, capturing honest emotion and meaningful details. When she’s not photographing weddings, she’s likely holding a dirty chai latte or re-watching The Office.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I met Thalia in a professional setting and after meeting her, we connected on social media and for YEARS I knew I wanted to work with her in some capacity (ideally my wedding :)). Fast forward to getting engaged this year, I had the opportunity to hire her to photograph our city hall wedding. The photographs were everything I imagined and more but what was even better was experiencing what being in front of her camera felt like. She truly has a gift for making you feel comfortable, forget that she’s there, while still providing guidance when needed. Thalia is quick on her feet and knew how to maximize our time with her when plans on our timeline had to shift a little. She asked important questions prior to our ceremony and offered great suggestions when we needed them. She also offered solutions when I got a little carried away with my vision and started dreaming up a photo shoot that would just push our time limits (which I appreciated). If you love her work and her images, I promise you won’t regret your decision of hiring her!”

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. “From our very first email exchange to the moment we received our photos, every step of working with Rich was an incredible experience. He always responded quickly, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t even considered. His preparation before the wedding gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly, and it truly did. Richard was exceptionally professional, respectful, kind, and understanding. On our wedding day, he brought a sense of calm amid the chaos. He blended seamlessly into the flow of events—always present when needed, but never intrusive—and coordinated effortlessly with our families, bridal party, and other vendors. He was also incredibly organized with the shots we needed, keeping us on track without ever making us feel rushed. Richard delivered our full gallery exactly one month after our wedding and just before Thanksgiving so we could share the photos with our families over the holiday. It meant so much to us and we were thrilled to receive our pictures so quickly. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day, moment by moment. He captured the vibe and essence of our wedding perfectly. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction, and his artistic eye genuinely blew us away. He noticed angles, lighting, and emotional moments, capturing everything from the big highlights to the smallest in-between moments. The pictures he took of us, our families, and our venue were stunning—so much so that multiple friends texted us saying the photos looked like they belonged in Vogue. That is entirely to Richard’s credit. Choosing Richard as our wedding photographer was, without question, one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding process. I am endlessly grateful to have these photos to cherish forever. Choose Rich as your wedding photographer - you will not regret it!!!!”

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Awarded Best of Zola
“It was such a pleasure working with Emma Cleary photography and videography. From the start, Emma was great to communicate with and always responded very promptly. She was organized from the start and made planning easy. The crew really captured the day so beautifully and professionally and looking back on the photos and videos makes us so happy. We keep watching the videos over and over! The editing and attention to detail on all of their work is all at such an incredibly high level. The photographers (David, Dilmurad) and the videographer (Kamil) were so fun and easy on the day of the wedding, they knew exactly how to get the perfect shots in a way that didn’t interrupt the flow of the day while still capturing everything so well. When the Groomsmen didn’t know how to properly attach their boutonnieres, the cameraman stepped up to help out and show them how to do it! We were running a bit behind schedule on the Bride’s side during the day of the wedding, but the crew was patient with us and found plenty to take pictures of while we finished getting ready. Emma Cleary’s team were all such fun to work with and we are so thankful for the memories that they captured.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Magalie LaFleur Photography for our engagement shoot in New York City, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From the moment we connected, Magalie made us feel at ease, which was so important for us as we really wanted her to capture a mix of impromptu moments and posed photos. The session was incredibly fun, and the photos truly captured our personalities and the energy of the city. Magalie has an amazing eye for detail and was able to guide us in natural, effortless poses that resulted in breathtaking photos. Not only was the quality of the photos outstanding, but the entire experience was smooth, relaxed, and professional. Magalie was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process, and the turnaround time for the photos was as promised! Would highly recommend any engaged couples work with Magalie!”

“When searching for a photographer, I was overwhelmed by the number of options available. Dominique didn’t make me feel pressured. She provided us with her wedding guide, which gave us insight into who she is. When we met remotely, I instantly knew she was the one. She was enthusiastic, listened attentively, and asked us questions about what is important to us leading up to the wedding and beyond. She was great to work with, and I knew what to expect. She drafted our timeline, offered recommendations, and helped us design it based on what was important to my husband and me. She curated a family shot list, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. Her and her team were amazing.”

Hey- I'm Nicole. When I'm not working with the raddest couples I'm typically brewery hopping with my wife, or home spending time with my three dogs. I live for SU basketball, and love just about any other Syracuse sports team (Crunch, Mets - count me in). I have been photographing weddings for over ten years, and in that time have had the opportunity to travel around the world and meet tons of new friends.

“My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. From start to finish we knew we were in good hands as Nicole was prepared and professional. She made sure to capture every single photo that we had listed on the helpful form she sent to us prior to our event. We just received our wedding photos the other day and we are blown away by both the quantity and quality of photos. Nicole delivered us tons of gorgeous photos that truly showcase the entire day. We have received so many compliments on them so far and we’re so excited to hang them up in our house. Nicole was so kind and fun to work with. I would definitely, definitely recommend her as your photographer!”

A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

“We don't even know where to begin singing Erica's praises. When she says "Client Friend" she really means it. This is exactly how she treated us from our very first Zoom meeting with her. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she was such a source of calm and support all the way through the wedding planning process. When we had to find a new venue due to issues with the first one, Erica was so reassuring that it would all work out and she even offered to send me full galleries of all the venues we were considering. When I forgot to put my engagement ring on before our engagement shoot (!!!!) she encouraged us to go back for it and told us not to worry about the timing. And on our wedding day, the second she saw me start to get stressed during family portraits, she stepped in with the most perfectly timed pep talk. Not to mention, she and Amanda (another Sweet Alice team member) managed to make rain on our wedding day such a special adventure that I wouldn't trade it for sunshine even if I could! Erica is the most kind-hearted and thoughtful human and this shines through in everything she does. From the many little treats and gifts she sent us just-because, to her ability to make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera... My husband and I are both very much not photo people, but ten minutes into our engagement shoot it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. We heard this over and over again from our friends and family at the wedding too. AND THE PICTURES. Some of my favorites are the candids she took when I didn't even know she was shooting. We had such a lovely time re-living our wedding through the album she sent us. We both said that we were glad we didn't end up spending extra money on a videographer because your photos told the whole story of our day so beautifully! I can't emphasize enough how grateful we are that we found Erica- there is no one else we can imagine spending so much of our special day with. I plan to encourage everyone I know to try and book her for their weddings- if only so we can hang out with her again!”
