Her talent is just through the roof. There are certainly plenty of photographers out there who are talented and it can be tough to narrow down, but what I think separates Taber from the pack is how, in addition to being uniquely talented and passionate about her work, she is also affordable, incredibly fun to be around, and will stick around for the ENTIRE day and night. The importance of having a photographer who is laid-back, directive (in an enjoyable and super helpful way!), hilarious, and overall a joy to have with you is so underrated; it can really make or break your mood for the day since they're there, ideally, throughout every part of your day. In terms of her rates, I truly believe she could charge double what she does and still be worth every penny. The fact that she included a free engagement photo session (in part to help you ensure it's a good fit) and stayed through the reception was such a gift. That said, if I had to pinpoint one aspect of what makes Taber so special and why I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer is that she tailors her photographs to your preferences and taste. We are a huge fan of dancing photos, for example, and holy cow did she come through. She sends out a questionnaire before the big day and its purposefully lengthy so that she can be thorough and give you all exactly what you're looking for. Even if our photos aren't your taste, I highly recommend browsing her site, as her range is as remarkable as is the quality of her photographs. In short, if you book Taber, I am confident she will exceed your expectations just as she exceeded ours.”
