That said, the communication from the company itself could definitely be improved. Most everything was handled by email, and it often took several days to get a response. Planning a wedding from California and coordinating travel to Oregon, I had a trial that was rescheduled and had to adjust my travel plans—which was a bit stressful with limited communication. I often felt like I was the one following up repeatedly just to get basic confirmations. In the end, I looked and felt great, thanks to Lana and Sira. I just wish the overall experience had felt a bit more organized and responsive.”

We had a makeup trial a few months before the event, where we got a chance to review the look for the day-off and customize colors to what I wanted. She spent a lot of time to perfect the makeup for the trial and took notes to ensure she wouldn't forget what I wanted. For the day-of, Heidi was very professional and put together a beauty timeline weeks before the event, so all the bridesmaids and mothers were aware of what time they would be getting hair and makeup done, and provided an info sheet to make the process smoother. She also provided each girl with a touch-up kit with the lip color. I could not be happier with how the makeup turned out for both our wedding weekend events. It looked beautiful on all the bridesmaids/mothers and lasted the full day, without needing touchups at all! “Catelyn does incredible work! I went in for my make-up trial on my birthday, and later that I evening I went to dinner with my maid of honor. I didn't have the budget to pay for my bridesmaids' hair and make-up, so if they wanted they could pay for their own h & mu. Originally my MOH was going to do her own make-up, but after meeting up with me that evening, several hours after my appointment, she decided to have her make-up done, too. She loved how my skin was flawless without looking cakey and that my eye make-up hadn't smudged or budged. The ceremony ended up being wildly windy. I embraced the wind as my veil looked beautiful. Eve after the windy ceremony and dancing all night, my hair stayed put and looked beautiful even at 1:30am. Catelyn has a relaxed demeanor, which calmed me on a day in which there are many strong personalities buzzing around. I highly recommend hiring Catelyn for both hair and make-up.
