We are so grateful to Bay Pointe (especially Ashley, Juno, and Lauren) for helping us host a spectacular event. We had our event at the Bay Pointe Pavilion and it was so lovely. We had a gorgeous evening and the weather was perfect. The grounds were beautiful with early June flowers blooming. Bay Pointe also had added more ceremony space flowers which really made it look even better. The food was great and everyone loved our drink menu. Overall, Bay Pointe made everything so easy that day because of how comprehensive the services they offer are. Everyone commented to us that we had the most peaceful, stress-free wedding they had been to in a long time. Even for myself as the bride/wedding planner, I felt like everything was handled and I could actually relax and enjoy the day.

Shaw's is a place my mom and I frequent often for after work martinis and apps. We love the Oyster Bar and one day decided it would be the perfect spot for my bridal shower. It was better than I could have ever dreamt up! The team at Shaw's did everything imaginable to give me the perfect day ever! The drink service was quick, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing. I have gotten a compliment from everyone that attended. We hosted our welcome drinks here and also utilized this hotel for our room block. Our stay was made better by such a helpful team, particularly Taylor and Patty were incredible. The hotel was renovated a few years ago and the rooms, bar/restaurant, and pool areas all still felt newer. Great option if near your venue!

With everything going on with COVID-19, my fiance and I were super nervous about what would happen if we postponed our wedding or even if we had it with a smaller crowd. We had friends tell us that for their wedding at a different venue, they were still going to be charged the minimum amount even if there were only 50 people, I was so nervous about what was going to happen but then we got the call. Jennifer called us from Brides of Poplar Creek and assured us that they understood what was going on and that they would do whatever they could to accommodate us with what we decided to do. They allowed us to maintain our date for 2020 but then also offered to hold a date (at no cost) for 2021! My fiance and I hit the lotto with this place. Jennifer is up to date on the guidelines they are mandated to follow and continued to support us as we took our time deciding what we were going to do. We have finally decided to move our date and Jennifer drew up the new contract and got it to us in no time. Honestly, she made it so much easier for us to make this decision because it definitely was not easy. If you have not seen this venue in person, you need to go check it out. I am very picky and was looking for a place that did not have carpet. If you look at their old photos you see what the upstairs used to look like, it was beautiful but it had carpet. I was going to not even check out this venue but my mom saw that they updated their floors and now it is wood flooring. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Having both inside and outside ceremony options, you could not ask for a better place. I cannot wait to continue working with Jennifer and her crew as the countdown to our new wedding date continues. I will post a new review after our wedding happens next September. CHECK OUT BRIDGES OF POPLAR CREEK, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

We highly recommend The Seville Chicagoland as a wedding venue. Desire was amazing to work with - she communicated promptly and professionally every step of the way. The space itself is elegant without the high price tag, giving great value. On our big day, The Seville really came through for us. When some out-of-town guests couldn't make the rehearsal, Desire allowed us to cancel without penalty. She also helped with DJ equipment rental when our original rental fell through. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or coordinator for our special day. The Seville handled all the little details and last minute changes beautifully. We're so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding day stress-free and magical.

It was a pleasure to work with Jodi at the Belvedere Banquet. She was amazing and made it very simple and easy at every step. I saw the prices and we talked about any changes along with the price for any changes. I got a packet that clearly stated what was included so I did not have to guess or question anything. We agreed on everything and I put down a small payment. Next payment could be spread out or in my case since the wedding was so close, I just paid in full. No extra fees were added on. Over the next few weeks, I had a few questions arise and she answered everything within the same day or next business day. My vendors were able to set up earlier than expected which was nice for them. I stayed next door at the hotel which was very convenient. They have doors that open between the hotel lobby and the banquet lobby. Plus a beautiful indoor lobby and outdoor courtyard for pictures. I loved the tall ceiling and the windows at my wedding. The food was amazing as well. I got many complements from my guests about the quality of the food. Many guests also enjoyed taking pictures in the lobby. Food was served at a timely manner. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Our son’s wedding at Eaglewood Resort was absolutely exceptional, and we cannot say enough about the experience. The resort is beautiful, the service is outstanding, and the entire weekend ran flawlessly. But what truly made everything unforgettable was Eileen, the banquet manager. She is extraordinary. Her organization, communication, and attention to detail are unmatched. From the moment we met her, we knew the event was in capable hands, but she exceeded expectations in every possible way. The reception space took our breath away when we saw it for the first time. Every detail was perfect, from the linens to the centerpieces to the overall layout. The room looked elegant, warm, and cohesive, and guests commented all night on how gorgeous everything was. It is clear that Eileen has an incredible eye for design, and she executed the vision with remarkable precision. The food was another major highlight. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious and plentiful, and dinner was outstanding—beautifully plated, served hot, and full of flavor. Many guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. Cocktail hour and dinner service moved smoothly and professionally, a credit to the entire banquet team. Had my wedding 10/12/24 at Bartlett Hills Golf Club and it was an absolute dream! The venue itself is beautiful. They give you the option for either indoor or outdoor ceremony spaces overlooking their lake. Outdoor ceremony space is limited to about 150 people but it was perfect for our wedding of about 125. You get access to multiple golf carts to explore the golf course for photos. Taking bridal party photos with all the autumn trees in the background made for awesome shots! There is a locked bridal suite for the ladies to get ready in or store your things for the day. They can close off areas for smaller groups, they can move the dance floor to your liking. They give you the option to customize SO MUCH. Their pricing is amazing for how all inclusive their packages are. The premium package (im not sure the exact name) offers way more than any other venue I visited or researched. And was far more affordable. It included an hour of passed hors doeuvres, an absolutely delicious dinner, open bar, all your linens, fresh flower centerpieces, an arch for your ceremony, even the cost of your cake!!! We got so many compliments on how delicious the dinner and the cake was. But what really sells this venue is Evan, the event coordinator. He is really the mastermind behind making your dream wedding a reailty. Most people say not to bank on a venue coordinator being like a real day of coordinator, but let me tell you, in the case of Evan, he is that and so much more. He is there to help every step of the way, offering advice and insight because the man clearly knows what hes doing. Also, him and his staff set up and break down ALL of your decorations. He is so helpful, friendly, and honestly just a cool guy. He even gave us the OK for our officiant/friend to do the stone cold steve austin beer smash for their reception entrance (we changed those plans, but still). Overall, I have zero negative things to say about this venue. My wedding was 110% everything I dreamed, in large part to Evan and the staff at Bartlett Hills GC. I would recommend a million times over.

Had the 5 hour lunch wedding package on 5/20/23. It was fabulous. Lisa was the wedding coordinator and offered the Emerald Room with high ceilings. Very light and airy. She set up everything beautifully. Lots of food. Cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have changed was cleanup started 15 minutes before event ended which caused some guests to leave slightly early. But overall a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed by selecting Villa Olivia. Also beautiful outdoor pictures at this facility.

Planning a wedding requires great attention to detail and a lengthy and continuous process of paying attention to infinite details. The team of Laurie, Leeza and Chef Hennessy were tremendous partners during this process, and we cannot thank them enough for all their help and support. They were all OUTSTANDING! In addition, no matter how much planning you do there are always things that occur on the day of the wedding that are unforeseen. All our last-minute adjustments were handled efficiently, effectively and with great care! THANK YOU. The ceremony was outside on the lawn, and we loved the set-up and the space. The pictures from the ceremony really came out well and the ease of moving to the space upstairs was tremendously convenient. The room set-up was incredibly impressive with plenty of room for the dance floor, the coffee station, a kids table with activities and the cake cutting. The access to the outside patio was a real bonus for people to get a breath of fresh air and to enjoy the view overlooking the golf course. Finally, a big “hats-off” to the Chef and his team. The meal presentation and quality were great, and we would highly recommend the dessert station with ICE CREAM and the late- night snack option. The food was FABULOUS from start to finish. As the bride and groom, we were extremely pleased with the event from start to finish and were not surprised by the significant number of COMPLIMENTS we received from the attendees. Our favorite was the comment “You have now ruined it for every wedding I attend in the future, because this one was so good!”
