I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

The Boltes, who own and operate Arlington Acres, are phenomenal to work with. We can’t say enough good about our experience. Not only is their venue STUNNING, but it boasts an exceptional rain plan that allows you to leave your reception space untouched and still have plenty of room for guests to mingle for cocktail hour. Arlington Acres has two beautiful suites for the bridal party to get ready in, two equally gorgeous areas to host reception events, and a naturally beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Not to mention, there are so many great locations for photos that your photographer will love! Arlington Acres provides monthly open houses for booked couples so that you can do walk throughs with family, friends, and vendors, test decor, practice walk throughs, ask questions, and even do photo sessions. Sarah even went as far as to help us schedule a private time to do our engagement shoot on their property. We also booked majority of our vendors through the recommendations made by Arlington Acres. They have built an incredibly helpful website with all kinds of tips, suggestions, and measurement info. for their spaces. We booked Arlington Acres for both the Friday before our wedding and the full day of our wedding, Saturday. This gave us an additional day for set-up and we held our rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday evening. We looked at 5 venues with Arlington Acres being the first and nothing compared to the venue itself, or the hospitality and kindness shown by the Boltes. They are as invested in making sure your special day is flawless, as you are. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful their space and property are, and they loved the photo opportunities their sunflower patch (seasonal) brought to our day. If you’re questioning booking with Arlington Acres, just do it. You won’t regret it and you’ll love working with Sarah and her husband! If we had to do it over again, we would without a doubt still choose Arlington Acres!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of being the first wedding held at The Barn at Seneca Hills, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We knew there would be challenges as the venue was still being finalized, but Sarah Bolte went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for our big day. She answered all of our questions promptly, often going the extra mile to coordinate with her team during renovations. Her dedication and care for the couples she works with are truly unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking—rustic, modern, and newly renovated. We intentionally kept our decorations minimal to let the beauty of the space shine through. The garage doors were a highlight, giving us seamless indoor-outdoor flow for cocktail hour and access to the bar. Our guests loved the fire pits scattered throughout the property, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful grounds and move freely between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and ensuring our guests were happy with the drink selections we had chosen. Every detail about the space contributed to a smooth, memorable experience. For couples planning their ceremony, I highly recommend hosting it on-site. The grounds provided a stunning setting, and being able to transition effortlessly from ceremony to reception on the same property allowed us to fully enjoy our day without the stress of travel. Our sunset photos were magical and some of our favorites from the day. Sarah’s organization and thoughtful approach were especially helpful since we planned everything ourselves. She provided us with all the tools and support we needed for a seamless wedding. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making each couple’s experience special. We chose Bloom & Bower for our wedding reception and it was the best decision we could have ever made (aside from marrying each other, of course). The venue itself was beautiful and was decorated to match our ideas and beyond. We were able to make use of the indoor and outdoor spaces during the reception. The property is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for picture opportunities and for guests to walk around or play yard games. My bridesmaids and I used the bed and breakfast the night before and got ready there in the morning. It was perfect and made for great getting ready photos. Plus the decorations are so cute inside. The Bloom & Bower staff exceeded all our our expectations and were ready to help with anything and everything. They were also beyond kind. In preparation from the reception, we were able to meet with the owner multiple times to tour the venue and for two planning meetings to make sure she understood exactly what we were hoping for. The owner, Margaret, is the most kind and genuine person. She was so supportive of all of our ideas and was there to make sure our day went smoothly. I will recommend this place to everyone! I couldn't imagine having our special day anywhere else.

We, as caterers, were able to communicate easily with her from when the wedding planning began through the day and evening of the event. We absolutely loved having our wedding at Findlay Country Club in October '20. The venue was incredibly gorgeous (especially in the fall), the food was delicious, and there were so many beautiful places for pictures. Lindsay, helped us through our planning, gave us tons of ideas, and was so organized. She helped us out a LOT day-of with keeping things moving and on-track and going above and beyond her responsibilities. I can't thank her and the FCC staff for making our special day perfect - I wouldn't have changed anything!

Our wedding turned out to be everything we dreamed of and more! Mary and the rest of the staff really went above and beyond to help us make our day special. The hall and outdoor space were perfect. The park is lovely and offers so many possibilities for ceremonies. Our gazebo ceremony though was really the fairytale wedding that I have always dreamed of. Amanda was always checking in with us from the time we first visited the venue until we were cleaning up the morning after the ceremony and helped us every step of the way. As our wedding was Halloween themed, I invited the staff to dress up, and I was happy to see that they did and also had a good time.
