However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“DJ Pat Ryan is the best there is!! Everything was PERFECT, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). “We absolutely loved working with DJ Maggie Mayy for our wedding! One of the most important things to us was having vendors that we felt we could connect with and who understood the vibe we wanted for the day. As soon as we reached out to Maggie we knew that she would be an amazing fit. She was thorough in her emails, and incredibly responsive- I never had to follow up with her or wait on her to answer questions. She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. On the wedding day, we had a few curveballs thrown at us due to weather, and Maggie was super flexible as our coordinator worked out the details. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. She also fully understood the vibe we were going for based on our must play/do not play lists, and chose the perfect songs all night (even an unprompted "Season of Love" during dinner that had me and my friends out of our seats singing on the dance floor lol). She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough. She will do everything she can to make sure you have a perfect night!”

“Ralph was the best vendor I have ever worked with for a Photo Booth. He was communicative, professional and timely in his responses. I fell ill just before the event and he upped his communication to make sure I could rest easy that the event would go well. It was an outdyevent so I provided him with a pop up canopy for shade. He came prepared as the event was poolside and he managed selfies even for patrons who had been in the pool. I was given a chance to choose the background and song for the selfies and he was timely in providing the samples prior to the event. Money well spent and I would not hesitate to use his services again!”

“Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING. He curated the perfect playlist, set up THREE different locations to play, AND was super cool to honor all our specific wishes. 10 mins to the end I went to him and said eh we are tired such a long day, we can probably wrap up - he assured me he had some incredible songs for the last few, told me to rally- he DID. Ended the night on such a fun, high note. I would recommend Ryan over and over and over and over again. Not only did he totally rock the DJ/musician aspect, but he’s truly a kind person- which just really rounded out the whole experience. 10000/10 experience — thank you Ryan!!!”
