Soon after I went on a Holiday to Spain and everything clicked after attending a European Wedding , “This is it “ . I can design weddings and share my love through each pedal with our Designs. I now get to share what I’m truly passionate about and show the love that I have for florals with you . We make your dream come true by turning each pedal into your own dream wedding .

My name is Rachel and I am the lead floral designer of Velvet Blooms. After studying music with an emphasis in vocals, I began to rethink what my creative path would be. With mentors such as Laura Williams of Poppy Hill Flowers and good friend Kelsea Olivia Gaynor of East Olivia, I began my journey into floral design and never looked back!

I am Kirsten and in January 2018 I said goodbye to my full time job as an administrative assistant and hello to stepping in faith and starting my own business! You could say the idea to start my own business fell into my lap, but it also came from a long-time love and passion for flowers and really any living plant. In 2016 when a friend approached me and asked if I would be interested in doing the flowers for her wedding. I said yes and that is when it all began to snowball, in the best way possible!
