My name is Mike (owner/ DJ) and Serotone Audio and Events is happily run by my wife, Alissa, and me. She keeps everything running smoothly on the business side, while I’m the one behind the decks — the “master behind the music,” as she likes to say — and a self-proclaimed audio enthusiast. My passion for sound goes back as far as I can remember. I grew up teaching myself music production and even writing and producing my own songs. Most of my adult life has been spent working as an EMT and in other medical roles, but my heart has always been pulled toward the beauty and power of music.

At the age of four, he started playing the fiddle and competing in contests around the state of Texas. Chris went on to learn the saxophone in high school which led him to a full scholarship from Abilene Christian University. Over the years, Chris has taught himself to play the mandolin, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, piano, and harmonia. After years of performing in clubs and dance halls, Chris was introduced to corporate events and weddings. He has traveled around the United States performing for well-known corporations, making him an established artist in the event industry.
