Picking The Inn at Leola Village for our wedding was the best decision we have ever made. From the very beginning, we knew we had made the right choice. We worked with Tara in the beginning who made us feel confident and helped us with every detail to set us up for success. The venue itself is stunning and the team and florals brought it all together to create my perfect vision. Having everything in one place makes things so much easier and the whole planning process was seamless. Our coordinator Stephanie was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She took care of everything and made sure the entire weekend ran smoothly. The decor, the food, the drinks, ALL perfection. We could not have asked for a better team to work with at The Inn at Leola. We cannot wait to come back for our anniversary.

Our guests felt so well cared for, and we received compliment after compliment about the level of service throughout the evening. And the food… absolutely impeccable. We had the wedding of our dreams at The Rose, and I’m still in awe of how perfectly everything came together. It was truly the best day of our lives. Very early in our tour, my wife and I knew we had found the perfect venue. The building is full of charm — the upstairs state room is ideal for cocktail hour, the front lounge creates a warm gathering space for guests, and most importantly, the dance floor is huge with an incredible stage. We wanted to throw an absolute rager with a live band, and The Rose was the perfect place to make that happen. Patricia, the event coordinator, runs an incredibly tight ship. She is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and always on top of everything. The planning documents were thorough and thoughtfully structured, and she kept us on track every step of the way. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Patricia made us feel completely confident that every detail was handled. At the rehearsal, Patricia took full command in the best possible way. She had every minute detail mapped out, which allowed us to truly relax and focus on enjoying the moment. On the big day, we felt so well taken care of. Thank you, Patricia, for going above and beyond for us. If you choose The Rose, you can trust that Patricia will make your wedding everything you hope it will be. Fun fact: My wife and I actually booked The Rose before we got engaged — a little untraditional, I know. We wanted to lock in the venue before dates filled up, and it took so much pressure off. When it came time to propose, I reached out to Patricia to help plan it. At our wedding, there was even an “X” on the dance floor marking the exact spot where I proposed. From the moment we walked into Rule of Thirds for our site visit, we knew that we had found the perfect venue for our wedding! We had our wedding this past May 2025 at Rule of Thirds, and could not be MORE HAPPY for our decision. Not only is the space incredibly beautiful, but the staff is amazing, truly so helpful, kind, and patient. Food and drink being included due to the incredible restaurant that Rule of Thirds already is, in addition to hosting events, made booking this space an even easier decision! Julie and Mandy, who communicated with us throughout our planning process, were a huge help as we worked to envision our big day, and were always available to answer our questions as they came up. Additionally, the food tasting experience was a lot of fun, and made us even more excited for the wedding! Naturally, everything was DELICIOUS and our friends cannot stop raving about how good everything was. On the day-of our wedding, our onsite events operations manager, Lucia, was also a huge help, and alongside our day of coordinating team, it felt like we had an amazing crew supporting us, and ensuring that we felt relaxed and happy all day long. The space itself is also stunning, especially the skylight at the center of the atrium space, which became such a focal point for our wedding design as we envisioned everything coming together. Having access to the bridal suite behind their sake shop also made preparing before and after our ceremony seamless. The way everything came together at the venue, including flowers, signage, and our floor plan, was perfect, and everything we could have ever dreamed of. We cannot recommend this venue enough, and will always remember Rule of Thirds as a special place in our hearts where we got to start the rest of our lives together with friends and family all around us! My Husband and I visited 5 venues and fell in love with not only the Holly Vault but also Alisa and her team. We fell in love with the unique space and felt that it was the perfect space for us. We loved that the venue offered and/or included: linens, tables, chairs, silverware, plates, catering, drinks, coordinator, getting ready space, and ceremony options. Alisa is the best of the best and thought about every detail that I would never have thought about. She made our day memorable and seamless from start to finish. We were truly able to live in the moment and didn’t have to worry about getting drinks, missing our desserts or appetizers because they were placed at our table throughout the night. Alisa was so easy to work with and her communication was clear and fast. If I had a question I would just either email or text her and would get response within 24 hours. I was completely confident in the team and they made wedding planning easy and my wedding day seamless. Out of all the venues we visited and all teams we have met, the Holly Vault collection is truly the best venue and the team is the best of the best. I wish I could relive my wedding day all over again because of this team and venue!

I absolutely loved my experience with Farm to People. I really wanted a venue that could do it all because I didn't want the headache of having to deal with multiple vendors. Rachel was so supportive and gave us a great framework to come up with the perfect wedding for us. We had so much support from the venue that we didn't feel the need to have a wedding planner or a day-of coordinator. We got all of the details ready with Farm to People and had friend/family do any small day-of stuff like setting up the welcome table. I had a couple of big asks at the beginning of this process, I wanted all vegan food, enough seating for around 100, and a local focus. Farm to People checked all those boxes and more. The staff worked so hard so we didn't have to worry about anything day-of. The food was amazing, the drinks were perfect, the space was beautiful, and all the details were perfect. The only outside vendors we had were the photographer, DJ, and bakery for the cake. It ended up being 120 guests, and they were very accommodating for everything.

As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. The Gardens were able to accommodate things we wanted, like family style dinner, long tables, great sound quality and an incredibly beautiful outdoor space. Getting married here was easy, the whole team communicated so quickly and respectfully. Being a queer couple, it was great to be in a space we could be fully ourselves. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out—the pictures truly speak for themselves—and it’s perfectly located: walking distance to everything Frederick has to offer, yet super convenient for guests driving in. The part that truly sold us: the food. Niko will literally make anything you want. We chose a fairly traditional dinner, but he added incredible twists that made it unforgettable, like lavender honey butter with our bread assortment, pepitas and pickled onions in our watermelon salad, and the most delicious herb-crusted potatoes (people are still raving about them) alongside our chimichurri steak. Both Mary and Niko go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. Just a few examples: they let me store my dress in the bridal suite 48 hours before the wedding, added a non-alcoholic prosecco to our getting-ready spread when they heard two of my bridesmaids were pregnant, tracked down porters for my mother-in-law (her favorite), got my husband a special bottle of whiskey for the evening, and even fine-tuned my signature cocktail (a watermelon margarita) the very morning of the wedding to make sure it was perfect. On top of that, their staff was constantly checking on us throughout the entire night to make sure we were having the best time...and we absolutely were. We truly couldn’t recommend a better venue. Location, ambiance, food, service...Union Mills has it all. We only wish we could get married here every weekend!

We truly cannot recommend Mountain Crust enthusiastically enough. This was beyond a 5 star experience and we had an absolutely incredible time. The food & drinks were delicious, the staff were all super fun, and their day-of coordinator kept the day running smoothly the whole way through (Shout-out to Nico!). We had both our ceremony & reception at Mountain Crust so it was a seamless experience for our guests from start to finish. The staff did an amazing job with the set-up for both and flipped the space around for the reception really quickly once we finished taking family photos during the cocktail hour. We did not feel rushed by the venue's staff at any point, but appreciated that we had them to make sure we didn't forget to do something (like signing our marriage license at sunset!). My bridesmaids and I were also able to hang out in the new bridal suite - known as the "Love Shack" - ahead of the ceremony, and that adorable space made the perfect backdrop for the first look & private vows the two of us did right before lining up to walk down the aisle. The team at Mountain Crust were extremely communicative leading up to the event as well, taking the time to answer every question and provide recommendations where we needed them. My husband & I both agree that there isn't a single thing we would have changed about our wedding, and Mountain Crust Event Venue is a huge reason why. Our guests have all told us what a great time they had, and we can only hope that one of them will get married here in the future so that we can come back and enjoy it again.

This is the best wedding venue ever!! I usually do not write reviews but had to because of the dream wedding Seven Ponds made happen. Julie, Rosie, Min and Morton (and the whole team) are amazing and I can’t put into words how magical the weekend was. The morning of our wedding, it rained, no it down poured but by 3PM the sun was shining and we were able to have an amazing ceremony. Every detail was thought of, every request was granted. Through out the whole weekend, I felt like a princess. During the reception, we were treated like royalty. At one point in the night I got something on my dress, I was dabbing it out with water and Julie came over from behind me and handed me club soda within a minute of me trying to get it out. EVERYthing was thought of. It feels like your in this wedding bubble being on the farm and every moment was filled with love and laughter and happiness. Consider this beautiful farm for your venue. You will not be disappointed!!

Since this was the 4th wedding for our family, having 4 daughters, we had a good idea of what we wanted and how we wanted it executed. During the planning session, we discussed with Jeff our needs and desires and with minor modifications he was able to do everything we waned in the way we wanted it done. This was in contrast to previous experiences where we had to modify things to meet the venues requirements. On the night before the event, wedding outside, reception inside, we were forced to move everything inside due to the weather. Jeff handled the move of locations without a hitch. When it came to the event the food was fantastic, the service was great and attention to detail was phenomenal. The cake supplied by the Inn was beautiful and absolutely delicious, with different flavored layers. All of this was done for what we considered to be a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend the Inn to anybody looking for a cozy and charming venue.

We found Sepia Private Dining and it was the perfect venue for our small wedding (50 guests). The Sepia staff did almost everything to make my wedding everything I wanted. The mirror on the wall and the decor matched our vibe. We had one set-up for the ceremony, then the guests had appetizers (we left to take pictures) and they changed the set-up for dinner and then moved a couple of tables for dancing later. I did not have a wedding planner and they made everything easy, from planning the menu to the set-up it was a stress free day! I would strongly recommend Sepia Private Dining for all of your smaller events.

I can't say enough good things about Threes - the staff, the venue, the managers - everyone was incredibly wonderful, so responsive, and helpful through the entire night and the year leading up to our event. My husband and I decided to plan the wedding ourselves and were looking for something pretty all-inclusive. Threes offered catering in-house, is obviously a (very good) beer bar, and needed minimal decorations (we had a summer casual vibe). It is narrow, but we were looking for a space that felt intimate, but had space for 120 or so people to gather, dance, eat (we didn't want a seating chart), all around the restaurant. Leading up to the event was a breeze - Angie walked us through what to expect and gave sample timelines of how they typically navigate things. I had a lot of questions as I wanted to bring in my own decorations, and she made sure I got all the information I needed and as quickly as possible. Threes gave options for getting ready spaces, let us drop things off days in advance, and treated us so well every time we dropped by to pick or drop something off or chat through some questions. Of note: the food vendors were rotating, so we saw a few different menus, but were given the freedom to pic the one we preferred. I will say; the tasting was fine, the food day-of was MUCH better which was an unexpected surprise. The day-of came, and we needed a rain plan due to a tropical storm blowing in, and Angie eased my anxiety and made sure a plan was in place. Throughout the day every. single. staff member. was SO warm, on top of it, and ready to help with whatever we needed. I cannot recommend working with the staff and team at Threes enough.

Buying out F+K means a party for up to 100 guests, or 60 seated, but if you’re looking for something casual for a smaller group, we have The Parlor, a semi-private event room just off to the side of the main bar or The Studio, a fully private event space with a satellite bar upstairs. This was the most amazing experience ever! We had our wedding at Threes Brewing at their Greenpoint location and from start to finish, Angie was exceptional and so, so, SO kind and helpful to us. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! We could not have done this without Angie and the team at Threes Brewing, and would really suggest either of their locations as a perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for something that's intimate and cozy, and have amazing food and drinks!

We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

Stunning wedding venue that can meet so many of your needs. We booked Fall Line for our wedding and had a great experience. They have separate reception and ceremony space, and your booking comes with chairs for each space and all tables and linens. They also do the bar themselves since they are attached to the brewery the owners run which saves so much money on booking a bar. You cannot beat their price for a venue like this! The staff were professional and helpful throughout the process from inquiry to our actual event. They’re training quite a few new staff right now so we had to give them a few reminders - but that’s understandable. They still kept everything organized, and our wedding went off without a hitch. I would recommend booking the parking lot option they tell you about - that helped our guests tremendously and avoided any parking issues!

Christian was wonderful at communicating, and welcomed our need to have digital tours since we lived out of state. I was always so busy and horrible at answering emails, but he always made sure things were done by deadlines. The venue was beautiful, and the food was wonderful. Our wedding was around 40 people, and just the main floor worked beautifully! We did all of the decorations and cake ourselves, and the venue was perfect while working with us and making sure we had everything set up quickly and the way we wanted it. I would definitely reccomend!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
