As a small boy, I would sit for hours watching my mother hand-color portraits for a local photographer, during the cold winter months, by a fire in our family room. From there I began taking my own pictures with my first box camera. Fast forward to a restless twenty-something working as a microbiologist, taking weddings and portraits on weekends. Eventually I graduated college with an M.A. in Photography and started out in Chicago, assisting numerous photographers, shooting everything from oranges to weddings. I have been fortunate to have worked all over the world. Photography is more than a job, it’s an avocation, a passion, it's what I do.

With 10 years of experience, Cassaundra began her photography journey at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire as a Fine Arts student majoring in Photography. During her time in college, she assisted and second shot for many wedding's and events. In 2014, Cassaundra moved to Arizona on a whim and began her own photography business. The desert and mountains ignited in her a new passion for photography. After a short stint in LA, Cassaundra now lives in Milwaukee with her eight-year-old daughter. My photography business was born in sunny San Diego, but a new adventure has led me to the midwest!
