“Sweet as Honey Floral took my vague description (color, fun, classic) and venue (coastal) and created an absolute masterpiece! Since the venue overlooked a harbor, I didn't want an arch to block the view - instead, Erin recommended a sprawling garden style centerpiece, and it took my breath away! Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie”

She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!”

“Kylie was awesome to work with and I was so happy with my flowers! We had a small ceremony for family only and a cocktail party with a few high boy tables, so my floral needs were minimal compared to a “typical” wedding. Kylie created exactly what I wanted for my bouquet, and she really helped me describe what I wanted by asking good questions. Then she sent me pics on Pinterest to make sure she was on the right track, which she definitely was! Aside from my bouquet, we had some small bud vases, flower girl baskets with mixed colored petals, and a boutonniere for my husband. Everything was perfect - thank you, Kylie!”
