“When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.”

The lead crew member on site as our wedding, Julie, was incredible, scanning the crowd for me to bring by husband and I snacks directly amidst formal photos and mingling. The tasting was well thought out and professional. The menu selections are vast and customizable to your needs, while also being reasonably priced. The option to have our menu cooked to order on charcoal grills right beside our tent in live-action was superior; there were no soggy reheated trays of food, the meat timings were perfect, no limitations due to not having cooking equipment as with some catering. Our guests are still raving over the food, and I think about placing a smaller-scale order at least once a month! Many couples say they didn't get to eat their dinner as they were too busy - we MADE SURE we ate our whole plates full. Just thinking back on our prime rib, mac and cheese, bacon-wrapped scallops - I'm starving for more! If you want a catering company that doesn't blow smoke, feels like an extension of your wedding immediately upon meeting, is mindful of allergies and ingredients, with enthusiasm and pride in their team, don't shop around, just do it!”

“East Coast Soul was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding! We had the Philly ensemble at our wedding, and for weeks after the wedding, guests were still going out of their way to tell us how great the band was. The dance floor was packed all night and they brought incredible energy to every song! They also performed our ceremony music and the trumpeter and piano player played our requested songs (“Moanin’” by Art Blakey and “La Vie En Rose”) so beautifully and it set such a special tone for the day! We got married on an island and it was so reassuring to hear that ECS had experience bringing the band and the set up out to the venue. They handled coordinating with the island to get the equipment earlier and it was so reassuring that they had everything under control , even given the logistically complex venue! The pre-wedding survey made it easy to share our preferences without being overly prescriptive. Everything felt well-organized, effortless, and perfectly executed! Thank you so much!”

“From start to finish (and beyond), the staff at Hampshire House were incredible to work with. The Director of Sales, Michele Giacomozzi, was patient, knowledgeable, communicative, and helped us to create the wedding of our dreams! The day-of staff (Bartenders, waiters, kitchen, etc.) were all attentive and made the day effortless for my husband and me. Besides the staff, I appreciated how transparent Hampshire House was throughout the process - whether it be about pricing, chair upgrades or kids' meals, they made it easy to budget and understand what was included. The venue itself was perfection - we absolutely fell in love with the 2nd floor library space when we visited and seeing it on the wedding day was so magical! The library exuded elegance and gave our night a cozy, intimate feel - all our guests loved it and felt it was so perfectly us. The long rectangle tables were great for conversation and left plenty of space for a dance party! Hampshire House is classic & quintessentially Boston; I can't recommend the space enough! Lastly, but certainly not least, the food at Hampshire House was stellar! Our tasting was so fun, Michele and her team walked us through the whole process and were so patient with us. The food on the day of was incredible and the guests could not stop raving about it! The Baby Lamb Chops in particular were a favorite as were the entrees (Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Lemon Thyme Chicken Breast, and Wild Mushroom Ravioli) and specialty drinks (Paper Plane & Pomegranate Paloma). I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience with the Hampshire House! Highly recommend!”

“It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how loved and supported I felt on the best day of my life. The Red Lion Inn played a massive role in that. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the second we stepped foot inside. From the historic inn, to the stunning barn, to the location right in the heart of quaint Cohasset, the Red Lion Inn is the wedding venue you dream about. As a vegetarian, I have been to so many weddings where my meal is an afterthought. But not at Red Lion. Every single thing on the menu was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian options. “It is not unusual for wedding planning to begin more than a year in advance of your big day. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. Liv didn’t let that happen. The groomsmen forgot tie clips. Liv ran 5 blocks to pick up tie clips for the boys and was back before the girls even arrived at the church. We are CityLux Studios - a husband + wife founded photography team. Boston is our home but we love to travel and can often be found in New York, Newport and Florida. We photograph a variety of portrait sessions from marriage proposals to weddings, elopements and boudoir. From start to finish, they were responsive and really cared to understand our vision and what were looking for. No vendor has ever maintained such consistent communication and the woman we spoke to at the start answered all my questions and really made me feel confident in choosing them. Our prep call with videographer, Patrick, was so professional and thorough. He went moment by moment asking what we wanted captured at every stage of our wedding day. He was so meticulous and detail-oriented. He was legitimately writing every single thing done and asking specific questions to make sure he didn’t miss anything. And on the day, he and the other videographers were on time, friendly, knew when and how to capture the perfect shots, all while not making it awkward or being too intrusive. We had very special items and details we wanted captured. They didn’t miss a single thing. From a special rosary to my father-bride reveal to adorable moments of our flower girl, every single thing we hoped would be remembered, it was there on film. Oh not to mention, they are one of the few business I could find that didn’t *just* deliver a 3-5 minute trailer, but also a much longer video of your whole day. And yay for gorgeous drone footage! I grew up watching these types of wedding videos as a little girl, hoping one day I might have one of my own. EZ Production really made my dream come true.”

“DJ Tay worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding to coordinate instrumental piano covers for our ceremony which turned out beautifully. We also gave him a spreadsheet with songs we definitely wanted to play, others that were maybes and a few not to. He worked off this list but there were still a lot of songs I’d hoped to play that we didn’t hear, and also a handful I hadn’t asked for - but it is what it is. He also brought some great colorful lighting and uplights for the space which really added to the vibe. Overall Taylor did a good job DJ-ing our wedding reception! (Some fun hora photos to share)”

“I got married on 10/18/2025 and hired Beauty Boston for hair and makeup. I found Beauty Boston on The Knot and was drawn in by the volume of positive reviews for the company. I utilized the online inquiry form to reach out, and Marissa responded right away with pricing information and availability. I appreciated that I was able to do a trial before committing to booking anything and loved that the company offered both makeup and hair options. I was assigned Andi as a make up artist and Jordan as a hair stylist. I had my trial with Andi, and she did a fantastic job. She listened to what I truly wanted and was very adaptable when I requested small tweaks. She kept track of all the products she used and all of my requests really well because she replicated the look perfectly 9 months later on my wedding day. While I had a lifelong friend do my own hair for my wedding, Jordan did hair for my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. All of their styles came out beautiful and lasted the whole night (my sister even wore her look to brunch the next day and it still looked amazing)! During the planning process, Marissa was extremely helpful in coordinating timelines and pricing. I loved that the artists were able to come on site to the hotel where we got ready and they even brought their own chairs for us to use. On the wedding day, both Andi and Jordan were extremely punctual and kind. They really both did a fantastic job and kept us on schedule. We even had time at the end for two bridesmaids who had not requested make up to get lashes put on for a small fee at the last second. I truly could not have picked a better company for my wedding beauty and am so grateful to Andi and Jordan for making me and my bridal party look so good on my big day!”
