While we did provide our office number when a phone contact was requested, we are not staffed in the office on Saturday mornings. That said, we recognize that clearer communication and accessibility should have been in place, and I take responsibility for that gap. Regarding the lighting, we do not have any documentation or signed agreement indicating that an upgraded lighting package was requested or added to your contract. As outlined in our pricing, enhanced lighting is available as an optional add-on and does involve an additional charge. Additionally, because your wedding took place during the day in a gymnasium setting, it’s important to note that uplighting is generally most effective in dim or evening environments where its visual impact can be fully appreciated. In a brightly lit daytime space, the effect would have been minimal. Your wedding day represents both an emotional and financial investment, and you deserved consistency, attention to detail, and prompt follow-through. I am actively reviewing our internal processes to strengthen communication, ensure clearer confirmations for special effects, and improve post-event follow-up so that situations like this do not occur in the future.
