Do you provide other services, such as DJs, lighting or photo booths?

Yes we work with some of the very best DJs in our local area! We are extremely picky about our DJs and make sure we vet them not only with their professionalism, but also their ability to pack a dance floor and keep the energy up. We also provide both lighting and a photo booth for rentals! We own an open air Guac Essentials Photo Booth (made by Photo Booth Supply Co.) and we have different lighting options from brands such as Chauvet, Venue, etc. Ask us about our lighting and photo booth options for more information!

How early do you come to set up?

We typically like to arrive to the venue about 2.5-3 hours prior to guest arrival. That gives us plenty of time to do our setup and sound check!

Do you learn new songs?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are happy to learn new songs for each event we do! If for some reason we don't play a song live we will make sure it gets played over the speakers from a music device.

What do you wear?

We like to keep it classy and wear traditional black and white at our formal events such as weddings or galas, but let us know if you have a different vibe for your event and we can match our look to it!

Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Accepted Answer

Yes we can provide musicians for both! We have violinists, guitarists, pianists, vocalists, and more all ready to go! We can play music from when the guests get seated all the way until the recessional when you are pronounced as married! We can also provide sound equipment such as speakers and microphones for the officiant to use if needed. For cocktail hour, we typically like to have a smaller ensemble of 3-5 musicians led by saxophone or a vocalist to play low volume music to allow guests to chat and mingle. This is a great way to get the party started! Ask us about our ceremony or live cocktail hour packages for more information!

Do you take music requests?

We can if you want! If we know the song or think we can learn it in time for your event, we will definitely play it. We like to learn new songs at every wedding or event we do. It is also very important that you let us read the crowd and do our thing. After hundreds of performances, we know how to keep the dance floor energy up and what songs work the best! Please feel free to send us your list of song requests so we can get an idea of what you want us to play!

How many musicians are in your band?

We have anywhere between 9-12 musicians, and sometimes even a DJ comes along and performs with us! We do not do any events with less than 9 musicians for the after-dinner dance party because we strongly believe in bringing you an EXPERIENCE with our top tier vocalists, dynamic horn players, and our amazing rhythm section. You wouldn't ask Earth, Wind, & Fire, Harry Styles, or Bruno Mars to show up with just a trio or quartet!

Question 8

Do you do Sunday weddings or events?

99% of the time, no we do not do Sunday events. We usually prefer to keep that day open for our musicians to be able to have time to rest or be with their families since we are usually pretty busy the rest of the week with our other jobs, rehearsals, and gigs!
