At The Wedding Leash, we believe pets aren’t just animals, they’re beloved family members. When couples want to share their wedding day with their four‑legged companions, we make it happen, seamlessly and beautifully. We offer a range of personalized services to ensure your pet is part of your big day stress-free, including a pre-wedding meet & greet, a dedicated pet attendant & we accommodate multiple pets. We provide transportation for your pets, and we include the “pet puperazzi service (Pet BTS). We also do overnight care, boarding, or rehearsal care. We’ve got you covered—with fully customizable packages tailored to your needs.

Founded by Alondra & Lou, our team of passionate pet attendants blends love for animals with event expertise. We understood there was a gap: couples wanted their pets by their side, but didn’t have a trustworthy, professional solution to care for them during one of life’s most important moments. That’s how The Wedding Leash was born. We are not your average pet handlers; we have serviced over 100 weddings/events, we work with your photographers and coordinators for your event, and we know in great detail how to incorporate your pets into your wedding.

Description

This 4 hour wedding service package for one pet offers comprehensive care and coordination to ensure your furry companion is an elegant and stress-free part of your wedding. This Includes a meet & greet, chauffeur transportation (60 miles), full pet care, and “puparazzi” photo/video coverage. A dedicated handler assists with ceremony moments—like walking or running down the aisle—and photoshoots, ensuring your pet is happy, safe, and beautifully included in your special day.

    Lou and The Wedding Leash made our wedding day so special! From the start, my husband and I knew we wanted our pups, Kailani and Rosie, to be part of our big day, but the logistics were so overwhelming (especially when everyone we’d normally ask for help was staying at hotels nearby the venue). Enter The Wedding Leash, and suddenly everything was handled! Lou was amazing from the start. He was super responsive, answered all our questions, and was so flexible with all the changes (and there were a lot). My mom was hesitant about bringing Kailani to the wedding (she can be a handful) but after meeting Lou she had no qualms! During the meet and greet, he asked all the right questions about their personalities, car rides, and routines, which made us feel completely confident leaving our babies in his care. On the day of, he helped the pups get dressed, made sure to walk them lots to burn off energy, and even helped watch over a surprise guest dog (he gave the dog a little tuxedo!!). He brought the cutest stuffed ring box toy and a little car for the pups to greet guests in. Lou also took adorable behind-the-scenes photos and made a video of them. SO cute!! He literally thought of everything to make the day special! We’re so grateful. Our wedding truly wouldn’t have been the same without our pups there, and we are so lucky to have had Lou to make it all happen so flawlessly.

    I can’t thank Alondra and Lou enough for the incredible care they provided for my pup during my wedding. Their attention to detail and genuine love for dogs made all the difference. They kept my pup happy and engaged, so I could enjoy my special day without worry. It was clear that my dog was in great hands, and I appreciated the regular updates and cute photos they sent throughout the event. Highly recommend their services to anyone needing pet care!

    They saved our wedding! Last minute, the company that we had previously booked backed out. It was a destination out-of-state wedding for us, and I was so stressed out and in tears. Lou responded to my email promptly and was able to not only take care of our pups on our wedding day, but also while we stayed two nights at the hotel where we got married (our dogs were at an Airbnb nearby). I couldn’t be more grateful for them. We saw in our dog camera at the Airbnb they were on the floor giving our dogs attention. Our dogs aren’t very easy or well trained dogs, and they never mentioned having any issues with them. They got them to and from our wedding with no problems, gave them their anxiety medication, and even got their leashes and halters on which is a challenge in itself with our dogs. They made it all seem to easy and were on time to our wedding without me ever even needing to reach out to them that day. If you book anyone for your wedding day, book The Wedding Leash!
