    I searched high and low for a florist within our budget that was also creative and I cannot recommend Ivan Gilkes of floralstud.io enough. See his instagram for his style. Wedding: Wythe Hotel January 2026 90 guests Total cost: 2300 After other florists ghosted me, Ivan came back to us with a proposal within days, and it was more perfect than we could have imagined. The colors, textures, shapes were all so playful without ever being showy--very much like the wow of an extremely cool flower or branch you see while walking in the woods. You just have to take a second look. Seeing the end result on Saturday blew us away. The ceremony arrangement exploded at the front of the hall like the warmest winter sunshine. The curly wire he incorporated into the bud vases DELIGHTED me. The boutonnieres were elegant and lighthearted. We went home and pressed some of the flowers in my bridal bouquet to put in our scrapbook.  Beyond the aesthetics, Ivan is just wonderful to work with. He helped us with so many details that made the room come together and coordinating with him was seamless.  If you have the chance to work with Ivan, please do. I truly recommend him for any kind of event--he is so talented.

    Ivan provided four arrangements for our welcome dinner the night before the wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. He was so helpful and easy to work with, and did a great job of running with my vision and turning it into something that cohered and worked perfectly with our venue (an old deli / lunch counter). The flowers looked different from typical wedding arrangements and really felt like us. I highly recommend Ivan's services!

    I've used Floral Studio for many occasions and events I've hosted — from my friend's bridal shower to birthday weekends, and they always deliver truly unique and unforgettable bouquets and arrangements. Plus Ivan's high quality service is unmatched! He will make anything happen and do it with such beauty and ease. I wouldn't consider working with anyone else in NYC.
