Wed By Sharron was the perfect choice of officiant for our wedding. She was thorough, helpful, and consistently positive throughout the entire process. Our vows were perfectly representative of us as a couple and included direct quotes, anecdotes, and the perfect amount of humor. She was firm but kind when it came to crowd control/instructions and provided calming support to both of us during the stressful getting ready process. We can’t recommend Wed By Sharron highly enough.

April Showers Events
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Brooklyn, NY
  • Offers 9 ceremony types
  • Starts at $350

Born from my own real wedding day washed in rain, April Showers Events is built on one simple truth: when the unexpected occurs, the real magic happens. As a mother, daughter, wife and sister I know the importance of celebrating big moments. I also know the value of having reliable help to ensure that the party you've planned is also one that you get to enjoy. I am a storyteller at heart and find event coordination a most delightful medium - for all celebrations tell someone's story, be it the beginning, middle or end. My passion is discovering the best way to tell yours.

Dana was by far the most helpful/standout of the wedding crew and we couldn’t have done it without her!! She had amazing energy from the start, and always found opportunities to step up and help out - for example: we had thought our dinner was a set menu but it turned out they were taking orders! Dana stepped in to ask every guest their order and coordinate with the service team. She took the time to connect with us, and truly celebrate with us/celebrate us! She was an integral part of making the day perfect and I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Rabbi Brian Denker
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Brooklyn, NY
  • Offers 9 ceremony types

Rabbi Brian Denker is an independent Rabbi and Interfaith wedding & Lifecycle officiant servicing the New York City Metropolitan Area including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island and Long Island working with couples from all walks of life to celebrate their one-of-a-kind relationships. Rabbi Brian aims to bridge age-old traditions with modern love stories to create special memories that will last a lifetime.

We cannot recommend Rabbi Brian Denker highly enough! My wife is Catholic and I am Jewish, and we were navigating the unique and beautiful dynamic of having an interfaith, Catholic wedding. Blending traditions in a way that feels authentic to both families can sometimes be a challenge, but Rabbi Brian navigated this with an incredible amount of professionalism, grace, and warmth. From our very first meeting, it was clear he was genuinely invested in us as a couple. He was exceptionally flexible, supportive, and highly communicative throughout the entire planning process. Instead of trying to force a pre-set structure or his own agenda on us, he took the time to truly listen to our vision for the ceremony and worked collaboratively with us to make it a reality. He made us feel heard, understood, and respected every step of the way. On the wedding day itself, his presence was incredibly calming. He delivered an absolutely beautiful, personalized speech that captured our relationship perfectly—it had us (and our guests) smiling, laughing, and crying. To honor my Jewish heritage, he seamlessly led the Sheva Brachot (Seven Blessings) and the traditional breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony. He managed to weave these important Jewish traditions into the Catholic service so naturally and respectfully that it felt like they always belonged together. If you are looking for an officiant who is profoundly accommodating, deeply talented, and dedicated to creating a ceremony that truly reflects who you are as a couple, look no further than Rabbi Brian Denker. He helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Thank you Rabbi Brian!!

Words cannot describe how incredible or perfect our wedding was - especially our ceremony. It was truly tailored to us as a couple and encompassed our entire relationship. I am so grateful to Dani for taking the time to speak with us in the months leading up to the wedding and really learning about us as a couple. She incorporated our personal family traditions, and our quirks, into the most perfect ceremony. We had people come up to us after who believed Dani was our best friend or had known us for years!! I believe that a wedding ceremony should be more than just words. It should feel like home. A moment so personal and full of love that it stays with you forever. That’s what I create for every couple I marry. I’m not just an officiant - I’m your friend, your guide, and your biggest cheerleader. I’ll be there to steady your nerves, share a laugh, and remind you to soak it all in. Because your love story is one-of-a-kind, and your ceremony should be too.

Awarded Best of Zola
We got married October 3rd 24 and struggled trying to find the right person to officiate our day until we came across Jackie and really cannot recommend her enough! From the moment we started chatting she was the utmost professional to every email, enquiry or worry we may have had she squashed easily. The communication was great from the off and I knew we made the right choice! We utilised the services of both Jackie and her husband the photographer Sascha Reinking with their All in One Package and it was the best decision we made for the day! She talked us through every process for the marriage license and met us for the appointment! Had recommendations on locations and great guidance on our vows and the ceremony which she performed so so beautifully! They took the weight and pressure off so much of the day and made it so easy. I implore everyone to reach out to her, and her husband Sascha, to discuss how they can make your day even more special. It truly worked for us and we met people who we loved being a part of our day!

Why Knot Wed
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Offers 10 ceremony types
  • Serves Brooklyn, NY
  • Offer

Why Knot Wed is a wedding officiant service serving New York City and Long Island, creating heartfelt, personalized ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique love story. From joyful celebrations to intimate elopements, LGBTQ+ weddings, and vow renewals, every ceremony is thoughtfully written with warmth and intention. As your officiant, I help set a calm, welcoming tone so you and your guests can be fully present in the moment. Through personal conversations and custom writing, your ceremony is crafted around your journey, values, and promises—so it feels meaningful, authentic, and truly yours.

When our intended officiant was unavailable for our short-notice elopement in NYC, found Jenn on Thumbtack. She responded within a few minutes, & offered to chat that evening (at 10 p.m., no less!). I felt so comfortable with her after our conversation that I booked her immediately. Her professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm for what she does put me so at ease - a blessing when one suddenly has to pull off an impromptu wedding in NYC, while living in another state ... with 10 days notice. She checked in with me regularly to ensure everything was moving along well, which was reassuring (when you feel you're herding cats, it's great to have a German Shepherd reliably in the wings). She knows the marriage requirements in NY well, and was a helpful resource. The contract she sent over was transparent & clear re: terms, timing, expectations, etc. I was surprised when she sent a few questions to me and my fiancé, so that she could craft our vows; I hadn't expected that kind of personal, heartfelt interest in our marriage ceremony. She then delivered to us her draft of our vows, in the event we had any edits for her (absolutely none). We met in-person for the first time at the clock in Grand Central - she arrived early (we arrived within the 15-min. grace period) and met up with our photographer. One presumes that a wedding officiant one selects online will be purely transactional - fill out the forms, say the words, sign the paper, thank you, goodbye. I hadn't expected the sudden emotion of speaking our vows, even just alone in the middle of Grand Central on the busy afternoon before Thanksgiving. Jenn was so on top of everything - selecting, with our photographer, the perfect spot for our ceremony, in the Grand Hall; handling the little things one might not have thought about (where do I set down my wrap/purse/bouquet, while I say my vows?) ... She was so warm and had made such effort to learn about us in a short period of time. I was so focused on my fiancé and on her during the ceremony that I didn't even notice the crowd of people who'd surrounded us during our vows (until we kissed, and they cheered). I'm so glad that she was the person to marry us. She enabled me to relax and let the joy of it all to happen, without worrying about a thing. I'm calling it the, 'Jenn Vows Bubble' - even amidst hundreds of strangers, it felt as though our wedding was taking place in a private little space with just Jenn, me and my (now) husband. I could not recommend Jenn more highly as an officiant!

Hey, I’m Tiara — your modern, non- denominational officiant known for vibrantly authentic ceremonies rooted in heart, humor, and soulful storytelling. I don’t just officiate, I lead. Through story-led ceremony design and a mic-drop delivery, I bring your guests into your love story in a way that feels effortless, elevated, and entirely yours.

This review is long overdue! My husband and I had the wonderful Tiara officiate our wedding 04/20/2023, and she helped make our experience so enjoyable! Not only was she professional, but also compassionate, personable, and helped us with our vows when we were both too overwhelmed to speak. She gave our guests a beautiful explanation of our love for each other, and included a “couple therapy-esque” meeting to get to know us before the wedding, and ended in me having happy tears expressing my love towards my husband during such a stressful time. She gets a 10 out of 10 from us! Make sure you book her for your upcoming wedding!

Marley Loves Drew Officiating
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Offers 10 ceremony types
  • Starts at $270
  • Serves Brooklyn, NY

Hi, I’m Staci, the heart behind Marley Loves Drew. I believe wedding ceremonies should feel personal, meaningful, and truly reflective of the couple standing in front of me. With a background in nonprofit leadership and volunteer engagement across New York, I’ve spent my career helping people connect with what matters most—and weddings are one of life’s most beautiful moments to do exactly that. Whether your ceremony is intimate or lively, spiritual or non-religious, I work closely with couples to craft a ceremony that feels natural, heartfelt, and memorable for everyone present.

My wife and I had planned on rushing down to City Hall to "just get it done!" Our marriage license expiration date was coming up, and we didn't want to have to go through the whole rigmarole with the county clerk and all of that again. So our wedding was unfortunately going to be boring, basic, and look as closely to a non-event as possible. But then we found Staci. Much to our surprise, not only did we find someone to officiate our wedding--something she did with an unparalleled combination of humor, and grace, but she took on the mantle of wedding planner that we so very badly needed. In a matter of days Staci helped give me and my wife the wedding that we didn't even know we'd always dreamed of! You cannot possibly go wrong by having her help you with yours.

I figure if you are here reading this, you are busy with a thousand things, planning your wedding. Certainly one of the most important decisions will be to choose the person who will be your officiant--who will perform your ceremony? My wife and I had the honor and pleasure of working with Barbara Ann Michaels (Jester of the Peace) this year. We were married in July and decided upon Barbara after looking at many other options. A friend recommended her services. And WOW! I am so glad we had Barbara! I could list so many accolades: But most important to me was that she immediately bonded with us. We met once in person and then we regularly did our planning via Zoom. She helped us design a wedding ceremony that fit our personalities and style. Our Wedding Officiant NYC offers its namesake services in and around NY. They work upon the philosophy that "your perfect wedding starts with your perfect ceremony. Led by Peter Boruchowitz, an ordained clergyman and multiple award-winning officiant, he can perform meaningful and memorable ceremonies.

I highly recommend Peter to be the officiant at your wedding. He was easy to work with and very friendly. He was very prepared on our wedding day. My husband has a harder name to pronounce but Peter prepped for that. It was also windy on our wedding day, but he was able be heard clearly with our guests and didn't skip a beat (even when the wind blew his notes to the next page!). He was also very comfortable to be around and helped us (especially my husband) with prewedding nerves. He is the guy you want to have nearby on your wedding day and to work with to make sure your ceremony is exactly how you imagined!

It’s time to celebrate the richness of your union as you fully explore this exciting time in your relationship. There is so much unknown and so much to decide as you plan your wedding and your marriage. I’m happy to help guide you through.Whether you’re getting married at a hip new loft in Brooklyn, or doing a ceremony overlooking the Hudson, together we can create something memorable and dare I say…magical! Love is love is love! I fully believe all couples have the legal right to marry. I proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and hold space and stand united with our BIPOC communities.

Hope was the officiant for our wedding and was the perfect decision for us! My partner and I are of different ethnicities and different religions. We struggled finding an officiant because we wanted 1) a neutral third-party; that 2) could provide a secular service; while 3) also incorporating some cultural aspects (e.g. Jewish breaking of the glass). That is a pretty tight line to walk, but Hope was incredibly thoughtful and flexible in her approach. We felt comfortable right away and well-understood during our exchanges. Hope nailed it pretty much on her first draft, and finalizing the ceremony was one of the most seamless parts of our planning. On the day of, Hope’s execution was amazing! We loved seeing her words come to life and she was one of the most talked about parts of our wedding. Our guests were impressed with her presence, her writing, and the atmosphere that she created to honor our relationship. We loved working with Hope and would highly recommend her for your wedding!

Hey, Are you about to celebrate something extraordinary in your life? Look no further than me to officiate your wedding ceremony. I am not just a Wedding Officiant; I am what you call a Master Celebrant. It is a more extensive term that shows my dedication to my craft, creating custom ceremonies for each couple. Hiring me will ensure I will help you create your whole ceremony with you from start to finish. As your "Third Wheel Specialist," I work with you to show off your unique love story. I'm here to make that moment you never want to forget memorable. Life is about exploring and embracing all this world has. Let me help tell your story.

It has been a longtime dream of mine ever since I saw Gossip Girl to have a iconic moment in NYC. With me going absolutely crazy with my best friend and fiancé in SoHo, Tribeca and all of the spots. I thought it would always be cool to get married in the winter but I decided I am more of a spring girly. So my fiancé suggested we do elopement when we go to NYC in May for our 4 anniversary. I that that was a wonderful idea, but I wanted a big fancy wedding. He said we can do both because he knew the wedding was going to be really expensive. So I did some research and that's how I found Crafting Soulful Stories. Charles was so warm and funny and gelled with my fiancé and I Zack. I knew he would be the perfect officiant for my big day. He helped planned the ceremony to absolute perfection. Also him and Zack surprised me with both of our parents to come to our ceremony. Charles made sure to included some inside jokes and many touching remarks about Zack's and I's story. I stress that everyone that lives in New York or visiting the city and getting married that Charles should be your officiant. He has such a way with words, and he made me cry. He is the best, so I absolutely recommend Crafting Soulful Stories. P.S. Zack is not slick he is still going to give me my Big Gay Wedding in 2025.
