Terrible Communication, Didn’t Deliver on Promises
We hired Victoria for our July 2025 wedding and had a deeply disappointing and saddening experience with her. Victoria was extremely difficult to get a hold of after we signed on with her and has ghosted us since our wedding and the email in which we shared this feedback with her. We paid a premium for Victoria's expertise and attention to detail and gave clear instructions (both documented and over the phone) around what we wanted, yet what was delivered did not meet the agreed upon standards. We provided multiple inspiration photos for our arbor, all with the top of the arbor fully covered in flowers and vegetation, which Victoria stated that she would be able to deliver. The arbor Victoria created for us covered maybe 60% of the top of the arbor structure at our venue, which was really disappointing given the incredibly high cost of the florals. Further, the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets also showed up with green chiffon ribbon, when we requested white satin, which meant the bride was attempting to hide the ribbon in all of the photos. We highlighted all of this to her in an email and she has failed to respond for weeks, even after we followed up. While some of the flowers provided were beautiful, the lack of attention to detail, failure to deliver what was promised, and complete lack of communication following our emails about what was provided at the wedding has completely tarnished our view of Pollen in Love. We would not recommend this florist.
Response from vendor•Mar 2, 2026Working with you both truly meant a great deal to me. Designing your July 2025 wedding was something I approached with care and intention, and I’m genuinely sorry that parts of your experience left you feeling disappointed. First, I want to acknowledge the ribbon detail. You are absolutely correct — white satin was requested, and green velvet was used. That was my oversight, and I sincerely apologize for that mistake. Attention to detail matters deeply in weddings, and I understand why that was frustrating. Regarding the arbor, we reviewed multiple inspiration photos and discussed design expectations in advance. The arbor was built to the agreed floral value within your proposal. On the wedding day, photos of the ceremony setup were sent to the bride and approval was requested prior to guest arrival. No concerns or change requests were communicated at that time. Additionally, several individuals viewed the arbor onsite before I left the venue, and no issues were raised that would have given me the opportunity to adjust coverage in that moment. Had I known you were unhappy with the fullness at the top, I absolutely would have addressed it immediately. Throughout the planning process, you were incredibly understanding during an extremely difficult personal time when my mother passed away unexpectedly. I remain deeply grateful for that compassion. I also worked diligently to resolve the initial floral color concerns, sourcing replacement blooms and going back and forth until we found options you were happy with. In addition, you received a complimentary ceiling installation beyond the contracted florals. After wedding season concluded, I stepped away to properly process my mother’s passing and navigate grief. You are correct that I did not respond to your follow-up email in a timely manner, and for that I sincerely apologize. That lapse in communication was not a reflection of disregard, but rather a very difficult personal season. I truly regret that your overall impression feels tarnished. That was never my intention, and I wish you both nothing but the very best as you begin your marriage.Big and beautiful!
Pollen in Love was a fantastic choice for our wedding florals! Their communication was incredibly easy - we could simply text them with any questions or requests and they'd respond right away. The quality of their work was also top-notch. They came with us to the venue ahead of time to get a feel for the space and provide their own creative ideas, which was so helpful. The florals they put together were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. I'd highly recommend Pollen in Love to any couple looking for a responsive, talented florist who can bring their vision to life.

From the moment we first spoke with Pollen in Love, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication style was easy, helpful and calming throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was simply beautiful, stunning, and heartwarming - our wedding flowers truly brought our dreams to life. They supported us through the design process, worked within our budget, and went above and beyond on service. The owner has an amazing creative mind, and it was an honor to have her for our wedding flowers. We loved her forward, upfront honesty and kindness - you can tell she truly loves what she does.

Pollen in Love creates true works of art with her floral. The detail is amazing, and the care put into each piece is obvious. The floral is always above and beyond, and definitely sets her above the normal "every day flower" shops around. Statement pieces is an understatement!
