Bridal Party / Guest Hair & Makeup

Description

Let your loved ones shine with professional hair and makeup tailored to complement their style and the celebration. From soft, romantic looks to bold statements, each service is designed to enhance their natural beauty and photograph flawlessly. A relaxed, supportive touch makes getting ready feel joyful and effortless.

We currently do not require a minimum if services are to be provided in San Diego County. Outside of San Diego County we will require a $550 service minimum per artist involved, travel fee not included.

We have no problem adding on more services, however, you cannot deduct the original number you signed to. Please ensure you provide enough notice when adding more services so we can make sure we have enough artists to accommodate.

You are more than welcome to schedule a trial/preview prior to reserving your date. Just keep in mind that your date will not be reserved without a signed contract and retainer.

We typically allot 45 minutes per guest service and 1 hr for the bride. Based on the bridal party's needs, we will adjust accordingly.

Loved working with Joanne and Janine!
The sister duo, Joanne and Janine, did hair and makeup for me and my 4 bridesmaids in March 2026. They were fantastic, adapting to each person’s preferences, were incredibly responsive throughout the process, and were more affordable than other hair and makeup artists we contacted. I met with both of them twice before my wedding. I did a trial almost a year prior when I was first booking them, then another time about a month before my wedding. They were helpful in making sure I was comfortable with the look and that it felt like me. They were open to feedback and changes as I went and I loved the look I had ultimately! My bridesmaids also enjoyed working with both of them. Their styles and preferences were accommodated! Our hair and makeup all held up well for our long day! Overall Styles by Joanne Fortune was the best choice we could’ve made. They helped make sure we kept time appropriately, made us all feel so pretty and were so friendly and fun to be around. I personally found them through Zola and I highly recommend hiring them for your next event!

Elopement Hair and Makeup
I had the BEST experience with both my hair and makeup! I recently eloped and was a little nervous I would feel sad getting ready alone. However, both Joanne and Janine made me feel like I was getting ready with some of my closest friends. Not only were they friendly, but they truly brought my vision to life. My hair was elegant and up and out of my face, which was perfect for a beach windy ceremony. It stayed in for 2 days after my ceremony as well! For my makeup, I usually don’t wear a lot daily and really wanted a natural glowy look. When I saw how flawless I looked, I almost cried. I couldn’t have asked for a better look with both hair and makeup. I HIGHLY recommend both Joanne and Janine for a stress free and elegant experience!! I received so many compliments and felt the most confident I ever have in my entire life. Exactly what a bride wants on her special day!!

Amazing!
I was extremely happy with the hair & makeup services provided by Joanne & her team! I felt all of my 7 bridesmaids, MIL, my mom & myself looked amazing. I felt incredible & beautiful with my hair & makeup. Janine really listened to my feedback & the few tweaks I wanted to make from the makeup trial & she executed perfectly! I was fairly nervous about makeup as I don’t wear much on a day to day basis but Janine did amazing keeping the look more natural, light, but still wedding ready! Joanne was really easy to message with & patient with me as I adjusted the schedule closer to the date. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing services!
I booked Joanne and Janine really in advance for my wedding in September because I liked that they didn’t have any minimum services needed as I wasn’t planning on having a bridal party. They were really flexible though when I added flower girls and mother and sister of groom services later on. I also loved that I could rent hair extensions as a lot of other stylists said I would need to source them but I have no familiarity with extensions. I was really happy with my hair and makeup and would highly recommend them!
