April founded April Affair in 2008 where she began coordinating and officiating weddings. She is an ordained Christian minister and an authorized officiant in Virginia and Washington D.C. Her vision is to honor and celebrate weddings of all cultural and religious traditions. Her passion goes beyond the ceremony itself, her deep commitment to helping engaged couples led her to earn a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching, so she could offer premarital counseling and relationship coaching. She is dedicated to helping couples build a strong, lasting foundation as they step into their new life together.

I combine personalized officiating with expert wedding coordination and premarital counseling. Most officiants specialize in one area, but my training and experience gives me the ability to blend these skill sets makes you stand out. I offer an all-in-one service that extends beyond the wedding day and into the couple's future together, making my services not just about a beautiful ceremony, but a beautiful, lasting marriage.
