Are you looking for a bespoke marriage ceremony that is crafted for you? Whether secular or religious, I'll approach your ceremony with the reverence it deserves. I care deeply about the meaning of ritual, and will ensure that each detail reflects your needs. As an an ordained minster via the Universal Life Church, I'm a strong believer in religious pluralism and shall tailor a unique ceremony to honor your tradition(s). I am also happy to perform interfaith ceremonies. I don't discriminate when it comes to sexuality and gender expression. Whether gay, straight, queer, trans, bi, pan, or poly, I will officiate your wedding with joy!

Having grown up Catholic with a Romanian Orthodox mom in predominately Protestant communities with Jewish and Muslim friends, I'm no stranger to religious pluralism. As the grandchild of an immigrant, I take pride in America’s freedom to and from religion. I have earned a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from The New School in New York City and a master’s degree in Religion in Global Politics from SOAS University of London. I know the power and significance of ritual. I come in to help you create the wedding ceremony of your dreams. I will ensure that it reflects your beliefs, traditions, hopes, and desires.

Standard

Description

The standard timeline for the creation of a bespoke ceremony is usually at least six months, from initial contact to the performing of the ceremony. This process entails group discussions as well as one-on-one meetings with clients. Depending on the couple and the desired ceremony, I will assess how many sessions are necessary. Based upon the conversations we have, I will then begin the researching and writing process. $250 is due upon retainment as your officiant.

Rush Order

Description

A rush order for a custom ceremony is possible within three months, but is double the price of my standard rate. It includes everything listed in the standard package.

    Elliott was the officiant for a wedding I attended in NYC in February 2026. The service was written in conjunction with the grooms so that their personalities shone through. Everyone in attendance could get a sense of who they were and what they meant to each other, regardless of how involved you had been in their relationship before. It felt like the ceremony was in good hands, and Elliott was flexible with any small issues that arose from sound equipment or last-minute adjustments. I would recommend letting him steward your love through its next beautiful stage.
