Javier began his career in 1997 with one mission: capture real emotion with precision. After fifteen years in weddings and expansion into fashion and editorial, he developed a style blending editorial sophistication with photojournalistic instinct. In 2012, he and Simoné Delgado founded COGRA, uniting cinematic photography with refined makeup artistry and aesthetic direction. As a married couple of over fifteen years, they don’t simply document celebrations — they shape visual narratives that feel iconic, intentional, and enduring.

We absolutely loved working with Cogra for our engagement session. We are not from New York City and do not live there, so it was important to work with a team that truly knew the area. We wanted photos in Central Park, and they knew all the best spots. Every location was beautiful and intentional, and they guided us through everything so it felt easy and organized. We shot during a major NYC heat wave, but it did not slow them down at all. They were patient, positive, and completely committed. They gave us water and even brought towels and powder for touch-ups, which we really appreciated in the heat. We never felt rushed and had so much fun. They also really listened to what we wanted and adjusted to match our preferred style perfectly. The photos feel timeless and elevated, and we truly could not be happier with how they turned out. The retouching was also amazing. It looked completely natural while still removing a horrible pimple I had, which I was so grateful for. I still looked like myself, just the best version. The turnaround time was also very fast. We cannot recommend Cogra enough.

Sometimes. We will bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look editorial magazine style.

No, we prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding memories.

Our turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a digital link with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. If you ordered a photo album, it usually takes up to 8 weeks to be ready.

We do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we will send that over to them.

Yes you can! We can gladly accommodate our packages to your specific needs.

Yes! Simoné –the other half of COGRA– is an experienced makeup artist, known for her wonderful energy and beautiful work. She will make sure you have an unforgettable experience on your most special day. We offer makeup services for the bride, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and bridesmaids. Customizable packages are also available for this service. Please send us an email with your inquiry.
