Waterfront Wedding in Brooklyn

Giando on the Water was the perfect venue for our wedding. From our very first interaction, the team was incredibly professional, quick to respond, and always helpful and friendly. They were incredibly organized throughout the entire planning process, ensuring everything went off without a hitch on our special day. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the water and a beautiful, elegant interior. And the food? It was out of this world - our guests are still raving about it! Giando on the Water truly made our wedding day a dream come true.

Giando on the Water was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, prompt, and definitive, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a picturesque, classic style that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% prepared, taking care of all the small details so we could fully enjoy ourselves. What a view! To anyone looking for a stunning NYC wedding location, Giando on the Water is truly the best in the city.

What a view

I had a vision of a stunning nighttime ceremony, lit by tons candles, and a cityscape backdrop, and the space at Giando’s as well as Joe and his staff truly made my vision come to life with all of that and more with not one but two bridges to light up our photos PERFECTLY! Even though it was one of the cloudiest days (and rained a ton), the skyline came through and painted the most beautiful background for our night and our guests were truly in awe. We got SO many compliments on stunning room, views, and the amazing food which was so important to us (people particularly loved how they got not one but two filets!). They have a hugeee, bright, and beautiful bridal suite complete with a bar and more of that city skyline, where I took my getting ready photos with all my girls and family and I particularly loved the awesome elevator photos we got, SO CUTE! It was better than my pintrest board could have ever predicted! The staff was also incredible! I’m a bit type A and got married right around the holidays so extra stress but Joe and his team were more than patient, accommodating working with our many DIYs, flipping the ceremony space so fast despite all my little details, and they truly treated us like family.  Little bonus that we can come back every year to the restaurant for the same amazing food and views for our anniversary  1000/10!!

STUNNING Views & Incredible Team

​After hosting a previous event at Giando on the Water, and enjoying dinner in the restaurant on several occasions, there was no other venue that could compare. With a breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline and the Williamsburg Bridge, it was exactly the backdrop we wanted for our wedding. From the moment we walked in, Joe the banquet manager, made us feel like our wedding was priority number one. Throughout the planning process, Joe, Liz and the team made themselves available and accommodating. The outdoor ceremony space is beyond stunning and felt like our own private oasis. Countless guests have said that it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever been to, with a wide variety of food choices and delicious drinks. The reception in the upstairs ballroom was spectacular, with more than enough space to accommodate our guests but still feel intimate. From the salad to the cake, the food was top notch and our guests raved about how delicious it was. The staff was very welcoming and made sure everyone was taken care of and felt cared for. They were all warm and professional. Carmen, our bridal attendant, made us feel like true VIP’s for the evening, and made sure our plates and cups were always full. If we could we would relive our Wedding Day again and again. Giando on the Water is the place to have your New York fairy tale wedding of the year come true!

We had our dream NYC wedding at Giando on the Water! The location and the view is absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Joe, Liz and the team.  We felt like family from our first meeting with the venue manager, Joe. He is easy to communicate with, and guided us with his experience with weddings and other events. His assistant Liz and the staff also put so much love and care into our wedding, and we cannot put into words how much that meant to us. 

You cannot beat the location, view, and food at Giando on the Water. We would recommend to anyone planning a party or wedding to have it at this venue. Truly a great experience working with them, no notes! We cannot wait to continue to return to this place to celebrate future anniversaries.
