I don’t want to imagine how our wedding would have went without Christina & Lauren from I do Memorable Occasions. On a budget and initially hesitant about the need for Planning and Coordination, we chose the Partial Package for 2800, and it was worth every . From the beggining, Lauren and Christina took the reins and kept us moving forward meeting the deadlines we needed to. They helped us find the 5 vendors we selected, vetted them, got us to the prices we needed for each service, and stayed in touch with them along the way. Our wedding day coordinator Christina met with us in person at the venue, and twice over the phone (One of them with our photographer) to nail down the timeline of the day. She listened to our wants but more importantly kept us honest about what was possible and how long things would take. The day of the wedding Christina was simply amazing. She cooly worked under pressure both at the hotel and the church to get everyone ready to go on time. You can’t coordinate at the church without a coordinator or everything going thru Bridge/Groom. Then she went to the venue and worked quickly to get everything we wanted setup in just the right way. One there she kept us on schedule, herded the bridal party and our family, and kept the 2 of us on schedule. She always met us with a smile and 2 drinks when we needed them. The day was magical, our guests had a great time, and we have the memory we want. Worth every .

if you’re anything like i was and you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, take this as your sign. i was very adamant that a wedding planner did not fit into our budget. i had been stalking cylee’s social medias and was so jealous that i couldn’t have her. since im stubborn, i began to attempt to plan the wedding by myself. i remember thinking to myself “how hard could this be?” my question was quickly answered when i had 37 vendors emailing me the next morning. we ended up hiring cylee, thinking she would “just be a wedding planner.” we were quickly proved wrong. cylee has turned into a friend. she has seen me at my best, my worst, and everything inbetween that. the amount of mental breakdowns she talked me through while we attempted to fix my flowers, make my seating chart, guest drama, etc. cylee sat with me for 8 hours…yes you read that right!!! she sat with me for EIGHT HOURS building my arch florals, welcome sign florals, and fixing my bouquets. cylee hand made everything from my save the dates, invites, seating chart, bar signs, everything!!! she even helped my maid of honor with my wedding shower. i have told everyone in my life, and now i’ll tell all of you who are stalking her page and reading her reviews, cylee is the best decision i made throughout the process of getting married (besides my husband, of course). she knew what i wanted before i did, she knew what vendors to say no to, what vendors to show me, and even had special insights and relationships with each vendor. fitting her into our budget actually ended up saving us money due to her expertise in being able to make every dream i had come true. she is a true gift to the wedding industry and to this world. our wedding night was more perfect than we ever imagined, and none of it would have been possible without cylee.

Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget. 

Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!

From the first call with Camille, I knew we were in the right hands! Despite the super tight timeframe we were working with (1 month), she took the time to really get to know us and our vision, support us along the way, and provide excellent guidance when we were unsure. The title says it all... Emily is IN-CRED-I-BLE!!! We worked with Emily for well over a year on our wedding and she handled anything and everything that we needed help with. Whether it was finding vendors/venues and contacting them, handling paperwork, setting up calls, tours, etc., Emily put our mind at ease with it and took care of it. She's also incredibly personable and fun to talk to! By the time our wedding came, it was bittersweet because we had looked forward to our weekly calls with her! On the day of our wedding Emily was a superhero..... She helped set things up, make sure everything ran smoothly, helped tear down at the end of the night, and packed our car with decorations and things we had brought for us so we had nothing to worry about. Kimberly was fantastic for our wedding this past fall. I had several conversations with various Wedding Coordinators and Companies but Kimberly stood out right away. From our first phone call, she asked such specific questions and walked me through the process and gave suggestions on how to keep everything organized. Kimberly was super professional, reliable, attentive and when above and beyond the weeks leading up and the day of our wedding. We did a downtown Chicago wedding and my husband is Assyrian, so between the level of detail and cultural elements, there was a lot that I entrusted Kimberly to help me with.. from the wedding timeline, to seating chart last minute changes, to coordinating with the hotel events manager, the photographers, leading the other vendors and table set requests, Kimberly was there to lead it all and ensure everything looked absolutely stunning for our wedding. 10/10 recommend Kimberly for any wedding or special event.

I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. Even though our venue was farther outside Chicago (Indiana), she ran several venue walkthroughs in-person, attended vendor visits with me, and always accommodated my husband and I’s busy schedule. As Alexa started to step away for her maternity leave (which started right before our wedding date), she did an amazing job ensuring her team was fully prepared to handle last minute preparations and day-of responsibilities. The day-of team of 3 were awesome with completely handling all details A-Z so I didn’t have to worry about anything, even despite some last minute changes due to weather! Due to the complexity of our venue, its location, short timeline, and being from out-of-state, we are SO GLAD we booked Monarch for their full planning package and had the privilege of working with Alexa! It was sincerely our pleasure to have her bring our special day to life, she was a joy to work with and get to know. If I were getting married again, I’d book her services again no question! Sarah is amazing to work with. We had a large backyard, outdoor wedding .. the day ended up being the rainiest day in June but Sarah executed the day perfectly. For everyone who thinks they don’t need a wedding planner. You do. You do and you specifically need Stephanie. If everyone had a Stephanie, there would be no wedding disasters, no war, and no famine. Stephanie is the best. She helped us look through contracts with vendors, talked us through conversations with catering (which is how we met her), and ran our wedding day seamlessly. Stephanie really knows this business. She helped us manage our budget, she set expectations and timelines, and was super responsive with emails and questions. She also was respectful and inclusive to us with all our identities, as a gay couple and a Jewish/Italian couple. The wedding industry often assumes a lot of things but Stephanie is so kind and goes out of her way to make sure she never does. Beyond that, I think it’s important to highlight what a wedding planner does the day of. She makes sure all the tables are set up so you don’t have to. She makes sure your vendors arrive on time. She made sure our photos and our flowers were set up. I cannot emphasize enough how much you will not want to be doing your own table arrangements when you’re trying to pull off the biggest party you’ve ever thrown. She also came a few days early and picked up ALL of the items for the wedding in her mini-van. Then she packed them up at the end of the night and delivered them a few days after the wedding?? That ALONE is the best. I assumed my wife, our families, and I would be packing things up that night but she gave us a magical day where we didn’t have to worry about anything. She’s also incredibly smart and thorough and NEVER complains. We had books as our centerpieces and realized later that the idea of books was going to be HEAVY. She never told us we were nuts but she actually said she liked it because we did things that were true to us. She has more energy than anyone I’ve ever met and her and her day-of assistant, Caitlin, were the best. Seriously, Stephanie is, as my wife says, a magical human being. Don’t plan a wedding without her.

I was originally on the fence about hiring a Day of Coordinator, but I am so happy that I ultimately did and couldn’t have imagined my day without one. Gina and her team were an absolute dream to work with, from the introduction call to all the meetings leading up to the big day. I ultimately ended up working with team member Morgan D, who was my rock on my wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, she made sure to check in regularly to see how she could help and if I was doing ok. I was able to text her all my questions and concerns the month leading up to the date and Morgan always responded quickly with fast resolution. On the day of, Morgan had her eye on every small detail. I didn’t have to stress at all during my wedding and Morgan made sure to keep us on track and updated.
