And it was truly a dream come true. Julie had helped the caterers set up almost everything! She worked with them to set up the ceremony (which was beautiful). She set up our archway and put down the decorations with the florist. Then she transferred our arch to the sweetheart table! There were so many details that she helped set up from our tablescapes to the audio guest book to the table and guest cards. She did it all! She also was super helpful and communicated with us on the timeline, helped organize our line-up for the ceremony, made sure we had food and drink during dinner, coordinated with our bus driver, and cleaned up everything at the end of the night for us to pick up in the morning. “HIRE CASSIE!!! There are so many reasons to hire Cassie, including that she is absolutely a lovely human being, but it really boils down to she will make your whole wedding better, both from your perspective and your guests’. We were definitely that overly anxious couple who thought about eloping at every other decision. Cassie greatly reduced the stress on our plates by doing all the research so we could actually enjoy making the decisions and envisioning our day. Anything we didn’t absolutely love, Cassie would come back to us with new options, helping to fine tune the vision so the day perfectly fit us. When we were worried we were behind schedule or over budget, Cassie and her phenomenal organizational skills always helped reassure us of the timeline and that we were in fact coming in under budget for our wedding. And she did all of this while we lived in California, planning our Massachusetts wedding. At one point during the process, my partner,Cassie, and I were in three different states, but she always found the time to meet and made sure she was always available for us. “I could not have asked for a smoother wedding day. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events. I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. Lauren is both of these things. If you are fortunate enough to be reading this review before she is completely booked for the year, consider yourself very lucky. I’d describe myself to be a relatively organized and budget-conscious person. A month-of-coordinator was an expense that I initially hoped to avoid…. believe me when I say hiring Lauren was the best decision we made to ensure my husband and I and all of our loved ones enjoyed the day fully. She did so much for us that I honestly cannot list it all. This girl LOVES her job and is out there to make your day happen. She is somehow everywhere all at once - but not in-your-face at all. She is super responsive, so detailed, and somehow, makes every interaction lovely and relaxed while also being firm and getting the job done. She will go to bat for you, she will capture the hearts of your vendors and families, she will have you and your spouse talking about how wonderful she is after every meeting you have with her. Lauren is the best kind of person and I am honestly sad that our time working with her is done. She is about to blow up big time, and we couldn’t be happier for her. She is worth EVERY PENNY!”

We got married in October 2023 and were completely in over our heads with the planning process with no idea what to do after selecting a venue. “Sarah was a clear standout from all the planners we met. My initial impression of her was that she was warm, kind, and professional. She didn’t expect us to have every detail figured out and was incredibly welcoming from our very first conversation. We hired Sarah as a full-time planner, and she was always available to text, email, or chat about anything and everything. I still wanted some independence when it came to design choices, and she was very respectful of that. She is extremely organized and always came prepared—asking the best questions during vendor meetings. She also served as the main point of contact for all our vendors, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Since we’re currently out of state but wanted our wedding in Massachusetts, Sarah went above and beyond for us. She visited all the venues we were interested in and sent us videos so we could make informed decisions from afar. “Where to begin! Hiring Jyl truly the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was so calm, collected, and professional throughout the entire planning process — and when our wedding day arrived and the heavens decided to open up and pour all day long, Jyl did not miss a beat.
