I started out by capturing photos of friends and family. Before I knew it AddieG.Photography bloomed into a business. Weddings became my favorite event to capture and I have captured countless weddings in the Kansas area and also in Florida. I love meeting new couples and take pride in capturing your big day in a unique and personal way.

I started my business back in 2008 but have had a love for photography most of my life. I developed a photojournalistic style of photography. Most of my photos are candid shots. It is not my preference to have people pose for shots. I find that I can capture more natural emotions and expressions when people are being themselves. Thus the photograph becomes a more realistic expression of the person, not a pasted-on smile or pose. I sit back and let people do what comes naturally. It can be difficult to be invisible when carrying a large camera, but I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. Clients become used to my presence.

More than a decade ago, two sisters - knew there had to be a better way to allow talented photographers and videographers to focus on what they do best -- create gorgeous art -- while providing couples with better support in the planning process.
