The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

He came up with the idea of doing voiceovers to make the father and daughter dance and the husband and wife a little more special. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. He got everyone on the dance floor, the song selections were great. He listens to what couples want, he really spends time to get to know his clients before the event. He makes sure everything is correct even if there happens to be changes the day before or the day of. Mike and his wife were everything we were looking for in a dj service. On the wedding day, Nathan helped make sure everything ran smoothly, coordinating with other vendors and our friends and family to make sure everyone had what they needed from before the ceremony through the end of the night. He knew we wanted to do our first dance and toasts outside during cocktail hour, right before sunset, so he made sure to check in with us to get the timing just right, and it was magical! During dinner, we had curated a playlist of first dance songs from our guests, and he helped create so many special moments by encouraging folks to get up and dance when they heard their song, and stayed flexible when we were ready to get dancing started. The reception was an absolute blast and my dream dance floor. The end of the night was perfection with several "last songs" and getting to soak it all in in a circle of our favorite people. Nathan is an expert and the whole night flowed so perfectly with so many core memories created. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”
