“Rachel and her team made our stressful and busy day absolutely wonderful, and now that we have our photos back, there is no denying that they were THE standout of all of those that we booked! The only thing that I would change is that she now has a new addition of a content creator that I have no doubt would be amazing!
Our package included film and polaroids and Super 8 for Wedding Day and the night before. From a boudoir session in her amazing studio, a Welcome Dinner on a sailboat, different getting ready locations and all around our venue, each part was unique! Getting ready, first touch, the ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, reception, and golden hour each have a unique different focus, which I absolutely love. The polaroids were an amazing touch, and the different types of film were such a vibe! I could not ask for more to have captured our memories and make them feel timeless!
Of all of the research I had attempted to do to look for a photographer, Rachel was perfect and surpassed expectations! She and her team were flexible, experienced, professional, and have tremendous range.
It was so evident that they put in work before the events to know what we were looking for. She even has great recommendations for other vendors and her connections show how well respected she is. Rachel also has a wonderful personality that seems to click with anyone.
Rachel was wonderful to work with from the start. She had clear and consistent communication and it’s obvious that she is professional that loves what she does, and through our multiple sessions I had no doubt that she had our best interest in mind and was happy to be behind the camera and supporting us.
The team was constantly multi-tasking, aware of what was going on, caused no concerns for us, but also always seemed to be in the right place at the right moment. She and her team were more than familiar with our timeline, what we wanted most out of the day, and needed no reminders, and as things will inevitably happen, they were quick to adjust with a smile. Time goes by so quickly during the events, and she and her team were always prepared and making what we had hoped and planned for happen!
After our initial inquiry, Rachel responded quickly and we scheduled a video call, during which she was super engaged and attentive! We could tell that she really listened to what we shared we were looking for and seemed genuinely excited for what we were planning and happy to be a part of it. Her service guide and contract were clear and so were expectations. My husband and I could tell from the start that she not only had a great eye but had the business part of what she does down as well.
There wasn’t a single instance during the period of time we worked together that I had doubts or felt on edge about our decision to go with her or that the end product from her team would be lacking. She checked in often and asked for a detailed questionnaire and mood board not only as a part of the inquiry, but also closer to the day which I loved as over months and months of planning things do shift and change.
They did a great job of capturing candid moments and getting group shots. They were somehow able to let us enjoy the experience but also get those specific shots we’d requested. They were able to make each part of the day fun, memorable, and unique. We are so happy to say that we have traditional family portraits, candid, and even photos that look editorial!”
