Getting married at the Granite Rose was the best decision we made. The planning team there is absolutely amazing - Anna helped us through most planning sessions, and Jill was our day of coordinator - both amazing at their jobs. Between the Granite Rose staff, and the partnerships with many of our vendors, our wedding went off without a hitch, and we were actually able to enjoy the process. We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and it was absolutley due to this venue and their staff. I do not think we would have enjoyed our day this much if it had been at a different venue. From the decor, to the food, to the bar, to the dancefloor, everything was amazing. Could not have asked for a better crew - Our banquet coordinator, Joshua, had the most amazing energy, and made sure that my husband and I always had what we needed and that any concerns were addressed immediately. Our bartender, Mariah, was great at her job, and remembered everyone's drink order the entire night. The food was phenomenal - so delicious and our Chefs Jim and Joe were able to accomodate every allergy/request with no fuss. Our entire crew was so professional and we are so impressed by the service they provided (shout out Tirk, Kiara, Jen, and Hunter). We would highly recommend using Wedgewood Weddings for your wedding/event, and in particular looking into the Granite Rose, and their awesome team! We loved it!

Their communication style was exceptional - always available via text and call, with open, caring, and compassionate conversations. The venue itself was simply beautiful, with clean rooms, impeccable grounds, and a magical setting that contributed to our special day. As this was a destination wedding, we had to ship many fragile decorative items and The Noble House team was extremely detail-oriented in handling these with care. Their hard work clearly showed in the final product - everything came together seamlessly for a warm, clean, and lovely event space. We cannot recommend The Noble House highly enough for their beautiful, well-maintained venue and thoughtful, available communication every step of the way. We love you Lynn & Matt

My husband and I are coming up on a year of getting married at Bear Mountain in November 2024. After being caught up in the life of newlyweds and reflecting a year later- we wish we could relive the weekend all over again. We had a seamless and effortless time planning the wedding with all of the different people at Bear Mountain including Jessica. This venue was only the second stop when looking for our spot to get married. Once we pulled into the quintessential New England venue- we were sold. It also helped we just had a fresh, heavy snowfall to make everything look even more magical. On our wedding weekend, we loved that we had an extra night just to ourselves before guests arrived. The day of rehearsal we both got the best massages in the spa cottage, and had incredible personal breakfasts delivered to the couples cottage every morning. Our friends and family still rave about the wedding, the views of the lake, the bar, the timeless and classic barn with gorgeous chandeliers. The ceremony view was unmatched as the sunset. They loved the food and the cocktail hour on the patio with fire pits and heaters after the sun set. We love that we live so close and drive by occasionally when heading north. It’s also so sweet that we have the ability to return to book a sweet cozy stay in any season, but especially our anniversary. It’s also special that they host events year round that we can join as well. My husband and I recommend this venue to anyone and everyone looking for a sweet, personal, and cozy wedding venue. Thank you to Nick and Jessica for making our wedding one we will dream about as we grow old together!

2 years after our wedding, our friends and family keep saying that our wedding at Camp Skylemar was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Now they're asking for us to host a 5 year anniversary weekend at Camp Skylemar! The Camp Skylemar team went above and beyond around every corner (and in ways I'll never know, because they made it all happen in the background!). We got married in mid-September and had a perfect weather weekend. We started the weekend with dinner around the campfire - it was simply magical. Saturday kicked off with a great game of costume kickball, followed by swimming and playing in the lake. Our wedding was held on the docks. I not only loved working with the amazing Camp Skylemar team, but we also had a great team of vendors - namely Blue Spoon Catering (now E. Wales Hospitality). The teams work really well together and our guests could have been any happier. Part of what I loved about Camp Skylemar is that we were given a relatively blank slate to build our dream wedding weekend. They saw our vision and helped bring it to reality. 20/10 recommend!!

I had the wedding of my dreams at the manor this past weekend. I had been there previously for events and knew before I was even engaged that was where I wanted to get married. The family that runs it are warm, inviting and have such an attention to detail that will leave you wanting for nothing. The communication leading up to felt like you were talking to a friend, easy and effective. The rooms were pristine and absolutely gorgeous when we arrived. They went above and beyond in so many ways. And the breakfast … I wish I could wake up there every day! The entire family was involved, and they really made you feel like family as well. I would recommend this venue not only for weddings, but also I have been to bridal showers and baby showers here and had the exact sentiments after those events as well. We got married at Field to Fork Farm on August 9th, 2025 and it was everything we dreamed of and more. It was an idyllic New England farm wedding with rolling hills, and farm animals straight out of a fairytale. The venue owners, Patrick and Daniela and their children are such kind down-to-Earth people and really made the wedding process fun and stress free. This venue is unique in that it’s really a blank slate and up to you what you choose for your wedding vision, from the ceremony layout, to the tent, to caterers, and decorations. Bringing in our own vendors took more leg work on our part, but it was well worth it as this made our wedding feel very special since we got to pick vendors to suit our taste. Patrick and Daniela were so helpful at answering our questions through the entire process, and allowed us to stop by to walkthrough the farm as needed for the planning process. On the day of our wedding Patrick and Daniela were so helpful making sure everything was well prepared from the ceremony setup to helping the vendors as they arrived. We had a few guests with difficulties walking, and Patrick kindly drove them to the ceremony spot in the south field in the golf cart. One of the highlights of this venue is that it’s a working family farm. They have so many cute animals including cows, donkeys, geese, chicken, and goats with 3 babies which were a huge hit with our guests who got to hold them! At one point there had to be at least 40 of our guests around the goats haha! Patrick even had the animals come into the pen closest to the tent so our guests could easily walk over to see them. Speaking of animals, the venue is dog friendly so our precious dog got to be part of our special day! The farm landscape is so beautiful, and Patrick and Daniela are constantly working to beautify their farm through projects like their new vineyard. We didn’t have to go crazy with decorations since the farm had so much natural beauty. This made for great photos. The farm is expansive, and our guests enjoyed walking around during cocktail hour and after dinner. There are so many scenic spots tucked away throughout the farm, such as their pond which we snuck off to for private vows on the dock before the ceremony, and photos in the canoe after dinner. A very unique part of this venue, is that camping is allowed! We ended up staying the night and camping and so did several of our friends as an after party. We had so much fun, and so did our friends. It was a great choice for us and our guests who wanted to continue the party without having to worry about driving home. We were allowed to use the space for the whole weekend, which was super helpful for setting up and packing up everything as we brought a lot of things in ourselves. We chose to have our wedding rehearsal at the farm as well, and it was a great experience! Another thing we did unique to the farm was include Field to Fork Farm spices as gift favors for our guests, which were a hit! Field to Fork Farm has a little farm store with delicious meats, spices, and other products for sale that we enjoyed purchasing each time we visited leading up to the wedding, so we knew we wanted to incorporate something from the farm for our guests. Overall, we highly recommend Field to Fork Farm as a wedding venue! Thank you to the Connelly family for making our wedding experience incredible! Professional photo credit: Carly Storro Photography

The View at Pepperrell Cove was an absolute dream for our wedding reception! This spot has always been our favorite restaurant on the Seacoast, so choosing it as our wedding venue was a no-brainer. With all of our guests traveling in from out of town, we wanted to give them a true taste of the Seacoast—and this venue captured it perfectly. From the stunning waterfront views to the cozy, coastal ambiance, it felt like Maine magic. Working with Dionna, the wedding coordinator, was a highlight of the planning process. Her communication was always prompt and clear, and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together seamlessly. We truly felt supported the whole way through. And the food... WOW. Meeting with their incredible chef, Eides, was such a special part of our planning experience. He worked with us to create a menu that reflected our favorite flavors and seasonal ingredients, and the result was beyond anything we could have imagined. Guests are still talking about the food—and when you’re investing in a wedding, having that be everyone’s favorite part just feels so good. We truly can’t recommend The View at Pepperrell Cove enough. From the staff to the service, the views to the cuisine, everything was flawless. We’re already dreaming about hosting future celebrations here. Our guests even joked we should make it an annual tradition—because it was that memorable. If you’re considering a wedding on the Seacoast, this is an easy YES!

From the moment we first inquired about hosting our wedding at Searles Castle, the team was responsive, attentive, and flexible in accommodating our needs. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a unique and well-appointed space that felt both spacious and intimate for our special day. Shawn and his team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went smoothly - they were super accommodating of our guests with mobility issues and I never found myself worrying as the bride, confident that the entire day would flow seamlessly. No request felt too big, and the team was very helpful when we needed direction on what to do. Having the day of coordinator included here is such a big benefit, and they rock at it. While booking we were reading all the five-star reviews for Searles, we knew we were choosing a great venue, but experiencing it firsthand was even better than we could have imagined. I've heard so many horror stories from other brides about their venues, but Searles was organized, attentive, and truly professional throughout the entire process. Not a single thing went wrong. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day at this beautiful and unique space! Thank you!

It is hard to put into words how special this venue is. My husband and I toured the property with Emerald back in November 2022 and instantly fell in love with it -- it was the second venue we saw, and we didn't see any others after. There was something about Emerald's genuine care for the space and for the couples that she worked with that really stood out to us. She has a deep connection to the property and we watched her build it up into the masterpiece it is today. We got married in May 2024, and it was truly the best day of our lives. The view, the ceremony space, the reception tent, the getting-ready areas -- all of it was so full of charm and so stunningly beautiful. Our wedding party stayed in the four cabins and we stayed in the adorable honeymoon suite. When we arrived for our wedding weekend, we looked at the view and made a vow to return to this place when we could. We were able to use a golf cart to transport decorations (and people) around the property, which was a life safer! In addition to the spectacular setting, Emerald's commitment is unmatched. She communicated with us consistently throughout the 1.5 years we spent planning and answered all of our (many, many) questions promptly. She sent us little gifts, solicited feedback from us about new property changes, and connected us with other amazing vendors. Her husband Kurt was also incredibly kind and so helpful on our wedding day. Bonus: their kids are adorable!! Penobscot Bay Estate is truly a magical place and was the perfect space for us to begin our lives together. Pro tip: use the honeymoon tub! it was so fun!!

From a private residence, it soon became a stagecoach stop where visitors would stop to eat and lodge at Frost Tavern. Following that, it was Paul’s Hotel, and eventually also served as a boarding house. Then, for nearly 70 years it was a convent run by the Sisters of St. Joseph Order. It was also a christian school. Words can’t describe how amazing Granite Ridge and the whole team is to work with. Stephanie and I were married on 10-5-2019; we were the 100th wedding. We live in RI, but love Maine so much and knew we needed to be married someplace that fit us. I started searching locations that were either very rustic, working farms, fun barns with personality to unique locations. This is when I can across Granite Ridge. The day we first went to look at the venue, we arrived in Norway a bit early and decided to take a walk around. Miki soon arrived and took us up to her property. From the moment we met her she had a personality that made us feel comfortable. She brought us to the barn first and before we could even get out of her car, Steph was determined this was the place for us to be married. Walking into the barn, the view of the mountains just takes you over. It is a very simple barn, but the chandeliers make it feel so special. We took a walk down to the ceremony space and knew this was where we wanted to say I DO. We loved the intimate feel of the space encapsulated by the woods. Miki took us to the estate house, and wow is all I have to say. During our weekend stay we utilized all that the house had to offer. From the hot tub to the amazing wood grill they have. We sat in front of the fireplace from morning to night laughing, having a great time. Waking up to my wife the morning after our wedding with views of the clouds still below the mountains with speckles of red, yellow and orange trees was something I will never forget. The whole time working with Gabe was amazing; I cannot speak more highly of him. He listened and answered any questions we had quickly. It was great getting to learn about his hot sauce company, The Spicy Shark. The Reaper one will make anyone happy who loves spicy things. From the views to the hospitality, Granite Ridge is a one of a kind venue that any couple will fall in love with.

FULL DISCLOSURE- I am actually the Leavitt's Events Coordinator, however this season I simultaneously became a Leavitt Bride. I was genuinely excited to host my wedding at the theatre, but admittedly I also imagined it would give me some helpful insight for work- letting me know where points for improvement were in both the space and the process. What I found out was pleasantly affirming-- we truly had AN INCREDIBLE wedding at The Leavitt. Our ceremony was down the road on Ogunquit Beach, and we paraded up to the theatre like New Orleans met New England! Our guests were greeted with an oyster bar & bubbly and the night went off without a hitch from there. Live music was a big priority for us, and we had a 5-piece band set up on the main stage. After we had our first dance & speeches up there, the space transformed! With the help of professional sound & lighting technicians, our reception felt like a tried and true concert. People are still talking about the ambiance and vibe to this day. The vision for our wedding was to throw a giant party for the people in our lives who helped us get to where we are today. We wanted a space where people could eat, drink, dance & repeat all night. We did not want to get weighed down in other details that were less important to us. I think The Leavitt perfectly mirrored & supported our vision and priorities, and we now have a wedding we TRULY loved as a lifelong memory. Proud to be a part of The Leavitt's wedding program, and very grateful that it's my own family's story, too.
