Her professionalism and bubbly personality made my wedding morning stress-free, and she gave me the hair style of my dreams I first booked a hair trial with Margo about a year ahead of my wedding. From the start, she was communicative, and my trial session was a lot of fun. She answered a ton of my questions about timeline, hair styles, and more. She also sent me extra reference photos when I requested them to prepare for my bridesmaids. Margo is also incredibly fast. We had a 12pm finish time, and I had 5 bridesmaids plus myself that needed their hair done. She arrived at 7:30AM and completed everyone’s hair in a timely manner. My bridesmaids had hair ranging from very naturally curly and thick to extremely straight and hard to hold a curl. Every single one of the girls’ hair held up for the entire day over 12 hours, and everyone was delighted with their chosen styles! My hair was still looking fantastic after a lot of dancing (see the attached photo of me at top golf at the end of the night!) I highly recommend Margo for an entirely stress-free morning getting ready for your wedding, and if you want you and your bridesmaids looking beautiful for the entire day. Her and her team at The Whole Story are amazing!!!”

The trial went well and she made sure that I liked how everything looked. Everything on the day of the wedding looked as expected based on the trial. I hardly ever wear makeup and asked for a more natural look and it turned out perfect! I also have fine hair and was worried about having volume, but Rita was able to make my hair look thicker than it is. Both the hair and makeup lasted all night and still looked good after being done around 12pm. We had 6 people getting services and everything was done on time by Rita and her assistant, she provided a schedule so that I was able to let people know when they could arrive. “Lauren did an amazing job as the sole makeup artist for my wedding day. She did my makeup as well as 8 others and executed all the looks perfectly! I did a trial with Lauren a few months before my wedding which was really nice to go over all the options and discuss the look I was going for. Closer to the wedding day, I decided I wanted to change up the eye makeup palette for the wedding. I reached out to Lauren letting her know and sent her and inspiration pic. She was so supportive of the change and on the day of she CRUSHED IT. The execution truly exceeded my expectations. Another important callout is the makeup lasted all night: through the ceremony, reception, dancing, sweating, and the after-party! I had a friend comment at 1 am (12 hours after the makeup was applied) saying how it still looked perfect. I'm not sure I can praise Lauren enough. I felt so beautiful, yet still felt like myself. Even months after the wedding looking at my makeup, I have no regrets. Thank you Lauren for making me feel so beautiful!”

“I booked JSL for my wedding and do not regret it! I decided to do the bridal package and it was so so worth it. My engagement photos were stress free and I felt like I looked wonderful. It was also a chance to get to know my artist and them know my hair/face (I had Judy :)). Then I had my trail and wedding day still! Those touch ups wow did they come in handy…. My wedding day turned into rain then CRAZY wind. My hair was a MESS after the ceremony. But she fixed me up! And we changed the look for reception! No complaints at all! And my goodie bag, so thoughtful and great for wedding day!”
