You don't have to worry about outside catering, rentals, or even a planner. Our in-house team helps you every step of the way, and everything is included. Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s. The outdoor areas can also be incorporated for your event--our deck and yard are completely open-air; you would be welcome to work with a third-party rental company to have a tent set up, if of interest. This 400 acre estate on the Hudson River on Lenni Lenape ancestral land, with its gently rolling hills, expansive view of the Catskills, and extraordinary sunsets, is in the heart of the Hudson Valley and only 90 minutes north of New York City. Rokeby is a designated Historic Landmark, still privately owned by the descendants of Alida Livington, for whom the house was built in 1815.

A gorgeous barn venue just waiting to host your dream event! We are a seasonal venue open from April-October. We are a large one story barn with a open floor plan and a neutral feel. Perfect to decorate how you want for your dream wedding. Since out barn is so large we typically only recommend people book with us if their attending guest count is 100+ people. If you book with us we promise it will be a day you will never forget and the beginning to the start of your lives together!

Serendipity Lake House is the perfect place to host your dream wedding. Have an outdoor tent celebration in an idyllic lake setting or a more intimate gathering in our rustic lodge. Weddings can be customized to celebrate each couple’s unique personality. Receptions of 80 people or under can be held inside the lodge. Receptions of more than 80 people will be held under a tent on our upper lawn only steps away from the lodge. The cocktail hour can be in the lodge with open doors to the deck so guests can enjoy the amazing lake views.

Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.
