“We hired Carin to coordinate a complex wedding with a lot of custom elements designed by us and our friends and family. She did an incredible job - our guests all told us what a great time they had, and how much they loved our choices - but the execution was all Carin. Before the wedding, she listened to what we wanted and made sure to ask us everything she needed to know. Then, as the day got close, we didn't have to worry even a bit. Carin handled it all and we were able to concentrate on the ceremony. She did a great job reading the room and figuring out the logistics at the same time, so that from arrival to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, to dancing, the evening had a flow that felt organic and natural. Us newlyweds and our guests barely had to think at all. But it was because of Carin's thoughtful and sharp coordination that it felt this way. She was keeping it running behind the scenes, making all the right calls as things came up, like a trusted general in the field. It's hard to express how happy we are with how it all turned out. We'll remember this wedding the rest of our lives, and we got to do it our way, but with a level of professionalism and execution we never could have achieved by ourselves. There's not a lot of coordinators who can do that - who can honor the vision entirely but put all the pieces together. Carin made it happen. (PS - we also hired Carin's partner, Jacob, as our wedding DJ - he did a great job too, reading the room, keeping the party going, and working seamlessly with Carin to keep the flow of the party. “My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!”

I work in a creative field myself, so I got down and dirty with the D.I.Y. for our big day. I, kid you not, had 300 colorful bud vases, 200 colorful candle holders/votives, and a massive amount of other silly decorations for her to set up for us. I did my best to stay organized for her sanity - but let me tell you - IT WAS A HUGE COMPLICATED JOB and she did it with such ease. I kept apologizing for the amount of work I was giving her, I felt like I was being a little insane with it all LOL... but she was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring with me through the whole process and kept telling me to stop apologizing LOL!! She is so super knowledgable about everything and has such good instincts about event planning. I added on a 30 minute planning session a few months before she started her coordinating for me - and it was incredibly helpful. Aside from her eye for decorations and impeccable creativity, she was also so so so amazing in coordinating the event in general. I had multiple people from the wedding party ask "wait so that's your coordinator?" and then follow with something along the lines of "she's awesome she just told me where to go and what to do so fast - and I was like YES M'AM" All of the party loved working with her, from my parents to my in-laws. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections.
