Our videographer, Jonathan, was professional and meticulous. He paid great attention to our requests and what we wanted for our video. We also had the flexibility to choose a song from a large platform, which made the video feel more personal. As a bonus, Jonathan has an amazing voice and even sang us a song during our karaoke session, which was a fun and memorable touch. One thing to note is that the original package does not include revisions, so a few scenes we felt less satisfied with were included in the final video. Overall, we appreciated Jonathan and the Originals team’s dedication and creativity, and the experience was a positive one.

Eivan's photo and video services were very affordable and were a major reason why we went with them. I think the photos we received turned out very well and captured many of the amazing moments that we had at the wedding. The service we paid for only included one photographer and one videographer but they were both very attentive and made sure to be where the action was the entire day. Overall, the experience was positive and for a bride who was more focused on living through the experience of her wedding, Eivan's did a good job of handling the stuff you don't really want to think about.

From the moment we booked LA Digital Photo [ Photo Video DJ/MC Photo Booth ] for our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. The communication and support they provided throughout the entire process was amazing - they gave us clear direction every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, their photography and crowd work was truly top-notch. At one point, the photographer spontaneously loaded up photos he had already taken during the reception to share with all of our friends and family - it was an unexpected and beautiful surprise that everyone loved! All of our guests were fascinated by the amazing pictures he captured of them. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first since they fit within our budget, but my goodness, they exceeded all of our expectations. I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
We were nervous when it came to hiring a photographer, because after the whirlwind of the day, photos are one of the only things you get to keep once the day is over that help you relive the moments. We had heard so many horror stories and knew it was one of the most important decisions we were going to make. But thankfully, hiring Mysi was truly one of the BEST DECISIONS we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was intentional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She made it a priority to meet with us in person—not just to talk logistics, but to get a feel for how we interact with each other. She wanted to understand our dynamic so she could best capture authentic, candid moments on the day. That personal touch meant a lot to us. She even took the time to drive up to our venue (a private residence) in advance to scout out the space. Watching her creativity come to life as she walked through the house and surrounding areas was such a fun and reassuring moment—we knew we were in great hands. We didn’t want just traditional posed photos; we wanted a mix of candid, artistic, and emotionally rich shots that told the full story of the day. She completely delivered. The final gallery was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined—natural, warm, and full of moments we didn’t even realize she had caught. We showed a few of the preview photos to people who didn't attend the wedding, and they all had nothing but compliments for how stunning the photos were. It's only been a few months, but we can't stop looking at the photos. They bring us back to the exact moment in time they were taken and we are able to relive the memories. Literally the only negative is that we can't figure out what our favorites are because they are all that great! We’re beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend Mysi more highly. If you want a photographer who truly sees you and puts her heart into every frame, she’s the one.

A+MBadillo was recommended to me by a family member who also hired them. They have the most beautiful portfolio!! Hired Marijo and Andrew for my wedding and both our engagement and wedding photos came out sooo beautiful! They are incredibly easygoing and made our photoshoots comfortable and fun, which was important as this was my and my DH first time getting our photos taken. Had multiple guests at our wedding reaching out to us afterward to ask about them as our photos came out amazing. There were a few things that were stressful about planning our wedding but A+M was not one of them, for sure the best decision we made aside from saying “I do!” Forever grateful for this team!

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
We couldn’t be happier that we found Stephen to photograph our wedding! He was very organized, easy to work with, on top of everything at the wedding, makes you feel comfortable during the photo shoots, and took into account our picture requests while taking the time to come up with cool ideas on his own. The pictures came out so great and were just what we wanted. Couldn’t recommend him enough! We want an excuse to hire a photographer again just so he could do it! Thanks Stephen!

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,200
  • Serves Tarzana, CA

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
The professionalism, raw talent, and sweet demeanor are only a few of the exquisite gifts Gabbie offers. If you are looking for a photographer who is the complete package, look no further. When selecting wedding vendors, every blog post will tell you that choosing your photographer is one of the most important (if not the most important). However, little information is provided after that tidbit, which can be daunting for an excited (albeit overwhelmed) bride who wants every detail of their wedding to be perfect. Sean, my now husband, and I had selected our venue, The 1909 in Topanga Canyon, CA., and our coordinator, Allison, with West Events LA, provided us with a list of her preferred vendors -- insert us coming across Gabbie. I remember going to her website, scrolling through her work, and being enamored with how each photo captured a different emotion and feeling. We both immediately knew that from looking at her work alone, we wanted our photos to look and feel the same. After sending an inquiry and coordinating a call, Gabbie & I spoke on the phone for close to an hour about what we had in mind for our wedding, and I remember it all clicking when Gabbie described her work as "documentary" style. Sean and I knew we didn't want a videographer for our wedding, so Gabbie's techniques and overall vision aligned perfectly with what Sean and I wanted. We also opted to do a round of engagement photos with Gabbie 5 months before our wedding, where she came into our home to take photos of us in our most comfortable and natural state (chasing our dogs around the yard) and then for a shoot at a local winery that we love to go to. Not only did we have such a fun and great experience, but we also felt so comfortable and relaxed with Gabbie. We almost forgot we were there to have our photos taken! We received the gallery back shortly after and were so thrilled. Fast-forward to our wedding, we had hired Gabbie a second shooter for 8 hours. They met us at the venue for the final getting-ready details around 1 pm and stayed through to a good portion of the dance floor, around 9 pm. They arrived promptly and were even extra helpful with Sean when getting his suit on! While those details may seem minor to some, it was that unique care and attention from both Gabbie and her second shooter that made Sean & I, and all of our guests, feel so beautiful and confident to be themselves. When Sean and I got our gallery back, we spent a solid three hours scrolling through every captured moment, laughing, crying, and squealing with excitement. I am not exaggerating when I say that seeing the captured images and how Gabbie so beautifully arranged them in the album was purely magic. Any time we go through the album, we genuinely feel transported back to that day, and there is no doubt in my mind it is because of Gabbie's pure mastery of her craft. As part of her thorough questionnaire, one of the questions was what percentage of digital-to-film prints we would like, and for ours, we chose 50:50. I'm so glad we opted for film, and I almost wish we had had more because these photos are indeed what dreams are made of. The icing on the cake, Gabbie also wrote us an adorable card after the wedding, which included 3 of the film prints. Sean & I will forever be grateful to Gabbie for her work and friendship. We love you!!

Jess Onesto

5.0

Jess is a wedding photographer serving couples from Los Angeles to New York City. She specializes in documenting moments with honesty and optimism to showcase her couples’ love for each other, love for their people and their love for a damn good time. “My work is bold, enduring, and honest.” With more than a decade of experience as a photographer and a background in fine art and film photography, Jess approaches each wedding with intention and a sense of novelty. She works in both digital and film mediums and her work has been featured in publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Destination I Do and Brides.

Awarded Best of Zola
Since receiving our wedding photos from Jess, several of my friends and family members (including 2 professional photographers!) have asked me for her contact info because of how amazing her photos are!! When we started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew that we needed to find someone with a great eye for candids, who wouldn't make our pictures feel too staged, who had a fun/funky vibe like us, and who could handle wrangling my extremely large family (full of very opinionated people) for family photos, and Jess handled everything with ease! I feel so lucky that we found Jess, and I cannot recommend her more. Jess made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding day, and even gave guidance to family members who are normally awkward in photos (e.g. suggesting ways to pose to make them more comfortable). Jess went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process, checking in with us, getting to know us, and even coming to a venue walkthrough so she could get a sense of the space! I am so grateful for all of the work Jess put into our wedding, and the photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I rarely even like photos of myself, but I honestly am so in love with the ones that Jess took that I jump on every opportunity to whip out my phone and share them with friends!

Hi! I’m Jordan, a wedding and event photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing love stories with authenticity and artistry. My style focuses on natural moments, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, I document your day with timeless, beautifully edited images. Beyond weddings, I also specialize in capturing milestone moments like graduation portraits and formal events. Let’s work together to create unforgettable memories that you’ll cherish for years to come!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have known Jordan for a while as an event photographer and wasn't sure if he did grad pictures, especially for groups. I was pleased to figure out that he does grad photos too and is extremely flexible about it! I had a group of around 11 people, and he was able to give me quick responses about the rate, which was an absolute deal. Jordan really cares for his clients and makes sure that everything is discussed before the event, including an itinerary. He was extremely flexible if we needed an extra hour and potential location itinerary changes. Coordinating 11 people for a photo shoot is not easy, but Jordan managed to do it with ease, attention to detail, and efficiency! Thanks to his expertise and creativity with poses and shots, we got some amazing solo and group shots that we will remember for a lifetime. He magically makes the experience very efficient, but is also not afraid to have fun! Highly recommend!

Hi! I'm Kelsey! Fun-loving, boba-obsessed, dog-mom living in sunny SoCal. I have a very natural and candid style of photography where clients don't look or feel "posed" but are simply being in the moment! I'm passionate about capturing the essence of your relationship, whether intimate, goofy, quirky, affectionate, and everything in between. I'm known for my friendliness and light-hearted personality! I help make shoots feel very comfortable, candid, fun, and genuine to each relationship.

We can’t begin without saying how amazing Kelsey and her team are! They are truly good at what they do. I’m normally really shy and awkward in front of a camera, but they made the experience so fun and comfortable. They knew the best angles and helped with our poses and told us where to go. The photos turned out so candid and beautiful! We cannot get over them and we got so many compliments! We are so happy that we chose Kelsey and her team for our engagement shoot and wedding photos. These types of moments are once in a lifetime and you don’t want to miss anything good and that’s why we’re so grateful that they captured everything for us. We trust them so much. I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Awarded Best of Zola
We enjoyed the overall experience with Indigo West from the start. He understood our preference for mostly candid photography and he did mostly that, leaving us plenty of time to mingle with guests. The photos he did direct we also loved it was nice he kept that quick, which made it very easy for us! Very happy with this vendor!

My wife and I had actually happened upon Demecio and Luna Bella two years prior to our wedding completely by chance at a wedding expo in LA. Like any prospective couple, we had no idea what we were looking for. Luna Bella was actually one of the first vendors we spoke to on the floor that day. Hours later we had come to the conclusion that they were probably who we would choose for photos, it wasn't even close after talking to a hall full of photographers. Luna Bella was actually the first vendor we officially booked and by far the single best choice we made. We actually contracted Demecio and his team to do our engagement photos on top of the wedding photos, from the start he was extremely courteous and his enthusiasm made the day fun. Even early on Demecio was open to our ideas and engaged in even the smallest details my wife or I suggested. Post engagement he was easy to communicate with, for all the vendors we worked with, it was more like talking to a friend than just someone working a contract. This was made even more apparent as leading up to our wedding and the day of his team was as excited as we were for the wedding day. There's a million things that go into a wedding day and obviously having someone to rely on to help line out details and timelines like Demecio was a godsend. On site the day of, Demecio and his team weren't just photographers. Of all things, the last thing I expected was to be complimented on how much fun our wedding guests had interacting with his whole team. Some of my family mentioned his team members by name recounting small moments they helped inspire and capture in photos we later saw. Beyond that the Luna Bella team took so much love and care in their craft, if you're willing to spend the time with them, they're willing to go the extra mile to capture just the most gorgeous photos you'll ever see. Quality wise the delivery was timely and the style of the photos looked clean and natural. Overall I cannot recommend Demecio and the whole team at Luna Bella enough. They're straightforward in their promises and over deliver on results. An extraordinary team that I'm beyond grateful to have met.

Working with Remo was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We first did an engagement shoot with him, and we were so blown away by his professionalism, creativity, and talent that hiring him for our wedding was an easy choice. From the very beginning, Remo was incredibly punctual, organized, and easy to communicate with. He is also just an extremely nice and easy-going person, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. He helped us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and that comfort shows in every photo. On our wedding day, Remo exceeded every expectation. His eye for detail, artistic vision, and ability to capture both the big emotional moments and the quiet in-between moments made our photos truly unforgettable. He worked seamlessly throughout the day, always present but never intrusive, and kept everything running smoothly. The final galleries from both our engagement shoot and our wedding were absolutely stunning! Beautifully edited, timeless, and felt true to us as a couple. We would hire him again and again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, reliable, and genuinely wonderful to be around, Remo is the one. We can’t recommend him highly enough!!!!

My name is Sarahi. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Since a child, I loved photographing with old polaroids and disposable cameras.. My family used to complain about the 100's of pictures I captured and how many rolls of film I used. Now, I look back at pictures from 10+ years ago, and see the beauty of "stopping time" in photos and keeping them forever. I see how it brings happiness to the people around me and myself. Nothing makes me happier than people looking back at precious memories. I can't wait to extend this experience to you and create an everlasting memory that you can carry for years to follow.

Awarded Best of Zola
I recently had the pleasure of a portrait session with Sarahi, and the experience was phenomenal. Right from the start, her professionalism and welcoming demeanor created a comfortable environment for both me and my fiance. Sarahi took the time to understand our vision and provided guidance to enhance the overall result. Communication with Sarahi was seamless, and deadlines were met with precision, reinforcing the positive overall experience. I 100% recommend SarahiPhoto for those seeking a portrait session that combines skillful craftsmanship with a thoughtful and collaborative approach.
