As a DJ who has had the pleasure of working numerous weddings at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, I can confidently say it is one of the most breathtaking and seamless venues I’ve had the honor of working at. From the moment you arrive, the stunning backdrop of Mt. Hood and the surrounding forest creates an unparalleled atmosphere. The most unique feature, is that the wedding party can ride the Alpine Slides down to the reception! The staff at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is truly exceptional. They are not only professional but also incredibly accommodating and friendly. I've worked with their team on several occasions, and every time, they’ve been organized, communicative, and eager to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that the couple's vision comes to life, and they always go above and beyond to keep everything on schedule—an absolute blessing for any wedding vendor. We are wedding photographers who recently got the chance to shoot at this beautiful venue. When I got to talking with the staff, I was shocked they’d only been open for a little more than a year. It was beautiful and the day flowed seamlessly, the experience made it feel like they’ve been doing this for 10 years. The highlights for us were the beautiful landscaping, tree deck, patio, and indoor space, and the people. Everything was close together (which can be a huge bonus for wedding logistics), and there was some really great areas for group photos. This wedding was in October, so it got kind of chilly and the giant campfire was a huge hit. If you’re looking for a woodsy venue with some really awesome owners, Rocky Hill is it!

Possibly the best decision we made during our wedding process (aside from getting married), was choosing this venue. We were able to rent and use 3 locations throughout the weekend (Pavilion, House 3, and Thunder Island), and each was accommodating and gorgeous in its own way. The ease of having everything from welcome night, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception in the same spot made our logistics 10 times easier. Lots of wedding venues are gorgeous, but what sets the Locks apart is their this place is that they are truly flexible and hospitable. They will actually listen and try to make anything work for you! We had 200 guests so we really pushed the capacity, and the team worked flawlessly to make sure we got what we needed. Jeanetta (the manager) offered so much helpful perspective, was easy to reach and communicate with, and went the extra mile, even helping us put up and take down lights, bringing her personal tools. It felt like showing off the PNW to our east coast and Midwest guests. They were blown away, and so were we. If you want a low-stress, high-flexibility, and completely stunning outdoor wedding, this is the spot. Hidden gem for sure.

We absolutely loved our wedding at Gorges Beer Co., and can't say enough great things about the entire experience. From the breathtaking venue (which so many of our guests commented about) to the incredible team, everything was flawless. Travis, Kelli and the rest of the Gorges team were simply amazing—organized, prompt, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They took so much stress off our shoulders by handling so many details that are typically overwhelming. With everything from chairs and napkins to cleanup and drinks included in the booking, it made planning so much easier and allowed us to truly enjoy our day. The personal touches meant so much to us—like having our names displayed above the bar and menu options that felt truly “us.” The large selection of beer and the fun yard games added a relaxed, joyful vibe that fit our wedding perfectly. And the after party? Absolutely fantastic! The staff brought such great energy and helped keep the celebration going strong. We highly recommend Gorges Beer Co. to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a professional, passionate team that genuinely cares. Our day was perfect, and we’re so grateful to Travis, Kelli, and everyone at Gorges Beer Co. for making it so special.
