I've had a camera in my hand since I was at least ten years old. Photography has always been something I've been passionate about. I was the friend that captured all the memories in high school. Once I got older, and more interested in this becoming something real, I decided to start my business in 2018. I've had the pleasure of working with the most loving clients ever since.

Capturing the real unforgettable moment on your wedding day is a privilege I take very seriously. A quick background about me, I am a born and raised Maryland girl. I am married to the love of my life, we have two beautiful daughters and two sweet pups! When I'm not photographing I'm usually paddle boarding, cooking, or going to amusement parks with my family. I cannot wait to capture your most precious memories that will last a life time!

I spent 10 years as a photojournalist covering news, sports, and political campaigns, and for the past 25 years I’ve photographed weddings with the same calm, observant approach. That experience taught me how to anticipate moments, work quickly in changing light, and capture genuine emotion without getting in the way. I focus on the natural moments as they unfold, keep portraits relaxed with gentle direction, and make family photos organized and efficient so they do not take you away from your wedding for long.

After years of family portraits and children portraits, I’ve dipped my toes in the waters of wedding and elopement photography. Born and raised in Maryland, I’m a creative wedding photographer. A lotta years back I jacked in my safe, noble, health insurance-providing job working with grieving families to follow a little dream I had. I wanted to take pictures. Pictures so beautiful they make people do a little cry. So that’s what I did. I also managed to bring two spirited boys into the world. That means I live a completely outnumbered existence with two males in the house but don’t worry, I’m on top of it. Being a mother is awesome and terrifying in equal measure but I don’t let it define me. Lots of people can be mothers: few can be awesome wedding photographers.

Journalistic style photography based in Western Maryland- but I go wherever you go! I started photographing weddings back in 2021 and since I am a big ole softy for love, I obviously fell in love with it. I like to stay pretty laid back during the day, candid photography is my jam. I believe pictures should tell a story. When you look back at your photos in a year or five, I want you to feel those same emotions you felt that very day. That is what is important to me.
