“From the moment I first saw Jessie's work, I knew I wanted her to be our wedding photographer. And I every second of my experience with Jessie since then was just amazing! Jessie was among the very first vendors I booked, so I had a lot of questions and a lot of items to still plan/work through. Jessie was so unbelievably patient and helpful in talking everything through with me, and I felt so confident that she prioritized our best interest with everything she recommended! Jessie is unbelievably knowledgeable about her art and does a beautiful, beautiful job capturing elegance and romance in all of her photos. I particularly love how Jessie just "sees" when/where to get perfect lighting, and her talent is obvious in any photo you see of her's. We did our engagement shoot with Jessie in NYC on the water at sunrise (which Jessie drove down early for!) and it was my husband's and my first time in front of the camera for a professional shoot like that. Both my husband and I are very uncomfortable in front of the camera and were worried about whether we would need to learn/practice how to pose for photos before the engagement shoot and wedding. We felt so comfortable with Jessie from the very start, and on top of that, Jessie was very detailed-oriented in walking us through every movement and pose during the shoot itself. We were amazed at how natural we looked in every photo! Jessie is also super well-organized and intentional about everything, which is a must-have on your wedding day! I had put so much though into all of the photos I was going to want from my wedding, and on the day of, it was an absolute out-of-body experience. Jessie struck the perfect balance of helping direct us/everyone and making sure we got everything we needed, but was also very patient and accommodating with us and all of our people throughout the entire day.
I am struggling to find the words to articulate just how much I LOVED having Jessie as our wedding photographer, and am clearly making up for that with a lengthy review, but the last thing I'll say is this: Jessie was so incredible to have on our vendor team from the very first day to the last, but at the end of the day, what matters most is how you like your photos. Jessie sent us a sneak peek of our wedding photos 2 days after our wedding while my husband and I were on our honeymoon, and not only did I burst into tears at how beautiful they all were, but I also could not stop looking at them. We ultimately decided that I was going to leave my phone in the hotel room when we went out because I couldn't stop myself from looking at the photos over and over and over again.
I am only able to upload 10 photos with my review, and I had a difficult time picking just 10 to showcase just how amazed we were/are with them! We picked a handful of the photos we particularly love because Jessie did such an incredible job of capturing the authenticity of our emotions and energy that you can feel it through the photo. I cannot wait until the day we can use Jessie again when we are ready for a newborn photoshoot! Thank you, Jessie and team, SOOO much for everything!”
