“Working with George Street was such a wonderful experience. They made everything about the process easy and manageable. From our very first conversation with them, they were incredibly friendly and amenable - willing to work with us regarding our budget and offered packages not based on how they could get the most amount of money from us, but on how their packages would help us execute our vision of the perfect wedding. However, where George Street really shines is in their team. We chose Jeremy as our lead photographer and he brought such a joy and passion to the photos that he took. We had chosen a rather unique venue for our engagement session (one without the best lighting to be fair) and he took such care in crafting each shot so that we both looked our best, but also popped against the background. You could tell while he was taking every photo that it was not about getting the next shot and moving on, but that he cared about getting the right shot for you. That kind of care extends to the rest of their team as well. Nora and Emily were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They responded to almost every email within 48 hours of sending and anytime we had a question about anything, no matter how small, they were more than happy to walk us through it either via email or by hopping on the phone. Their user portal for creating a wedding plan is also very user-friendly and was helpful in determining important moments to capture during the night as well as the best way to structure our wedding in terms of timeline. In terms of the actual wedding day, we had Mario as an associate photographer and Randy as our videographer in addition to Jeremy. Once again, all three made us feel like we were absolute stars. For Randy in particular, he was seemingly everywhere at once. If there was something happening on the dance floor or a moment of revelry happened anywhere, he somehow captured it. The process of receiving the photos & videos afterward was also much quicker than anticipated and they were stunning. We had such a hard time choosing what photos would go into the album. Overall, this was an incredible team to work with and if we were to do it all again, they would be our first choice.”

“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Windy City Glam. From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, everything felt thoughtful, organized, and deeply personal. Celeste and Alex were not only incredibly talented but also genuinely lovely to be around. And having Catherine who owns Windy City Glam and is also a close friend and one of my bridesmaids, made it feel all the more special. We got ready at the Hyatt House in West Loop, which isn’t the most spacious or salon-like spot for hair and makeup. But Celeste and Alex showed up early, fully prepared, and made the space work so seamlessly you’d think they set up there all the time. The room felt calm and happy, exactly what you want on a wedding morning. Celeste did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. We had done a trial beforehand, and I gave quite a bit of feedback on what I liked and what didn’t feel quite like me. She took every note seriously, and on the wedding day, it all came together perfectly. The look felt just right, elevated, soft, with sparkly eyeshadow and still very much me. I felt beautiful without feeling overdone. The makeup lasted through every emotion, every hug, every photo, and hours of dancing. She also gave so much care to the rest of the bridal party. Everyone looked incredible and felt comfortable and confident, which set the tone for the whole day. Alex styled everyone’s hair, and she was just as amazing. At our trial, I had tighter waves than imagined, and I mentioned wanting something a little softer. On the day of, she adjusted the style to make the waves looser and added pearl accents that made it feel more romantic, and I loved it. It held beautifully all day and night through wind and nonstop dancing. My bridesmaids and mom also looked gorgeous, with styles that fit each person’s hair type and vibe. Alex was calm, focused, and incredibly efficient, but she never made anyone feel rushed. She cared about how everyone felt walking out of that chair. Catherine was a huge help behind the scenes with planning the schedule. She organized the timeline for hair and makeup so well that we stayed on track the entire morning without feeling on a timer. That kind of planning and attention to detail made the day run much more smoothly and let me enjoy the getting-ready part instead of stressing about timing. What made Windy City Glam stand out is how personal and supportive the whole experience felt. Celeste and Alex are true professionals, but they’re also kind people who bring such good energy into the room. They made me feel like the best version of myself on one of the most meaningful days of my life. If you’re considering Windy City Glam, do it. You’ll feel cared for, listened to, and completely at ease. I couldn’t be more grateful for them.”

Molly was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything feel seamless and organized. We also used their “iPad DJ” option so we could customize our cocktail hour and dinner playlists, along with a few songs during the band’s breaks. It was the perfect balance of adding our own personal touches while still trusting them to play what they know keeps the energy up. The band itself was amazing. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations, from the planning process to the day itself. Highlights to note: Event management: Chris, our event manager, was outstanding. He welcomed us for multiple visits ahead of our wedding, offered helpful guidance throughout the planning process, and was incredibly easy to communicate with. Day-of coordination: My husband and I felt completely taken care of. Every detail was executed flawlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy the day with our families and guests without stress. Food & drink: The dinner went above and beyond — even better than our tasting, which says a lot! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. The family-style meal was a huge hit, offering everyone a chance to enjoy a range of entrées and portion sizes. Guests with dietary restrictions were also very well accommodated and impressed by the thoughtful service. Menu flexibility: The in-house catering made planning so much simpler, and we loved how customizable everything was — from entrées and salads to drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and late-night snacks. Venue aesthetics: The space itself is stunning and was a major reason we fell in love with Chicago Winery. It’s warm, modern, and beautifully transitions from ceremony to dinner to dancing. “Walden was by far the best experience we had throughout the entire wedding planning process — starting from our very first tour. Having everything in one location and a full wedding planning service included in the venue cost was truly unmatched, and it was the only place we found in Chicago that offered this. From introducing us to Tetyana, Egidijus and Irad, How the process would happen from start to finish to getting our photos and videos back. The photos and video blew us out of the water. We are so in awe of the work and quality they put into our day. They were truly the best to work with from start to finish. The only thing is we have so many pictures I can not choose a favorite. (But that's a great problem to have) They truly captured my husband and I in our photos and videos and we are so blessed we came across their page. This company is 100 percent worth the money and we wouldn't have changed a single thing. You guys were amazing in person and in your work! You can definitely tell they love what they do by the work they produce.
