“As an Entertainment Director/Event Manager myself, I’m blown away by Franklin. It was important for me to hire someone I could trust to handle the organization for my wedding day. After our first meeting with Franklin, I knew he understood what we wanted. I was thrilled to know he was available for our wedding, and I feel like we couldn’t have made a better choice. Before the wedding day, I was so relieved when Franklin came over to pick up all the decor. He even stopped by on the morning of the wedding to check on us and pick up any last-minute items. This alone really touched me because many people don’t go that extra mile, but Franklin does! I was seriously stressing about how to get those items delivered, and Franklin came right along and eased all that stress! He took our ideas and exceeded our expectations. We are Funko Pop collectors, so we wanted a fun way to incorporate them into our wedding decor, and he did it with ease. He surprised us several times throughout the event, and those memories are some of my favorite moments. When he revealed the reception dining room, which he had decorated for us, I was filled with chills. I couldn’t believe he took my simple idea and made it look so GRAND; it was next level. Then we walked over to the cookie and cake table, where I was seriously at a loss for words. I was blown away by the details he displayed in his decorating. It seemed like a scene from a movie. Before walking down the aisle, we learned that one of our food caterers was extremely late delivering the food and potentially wasn’t going to deliver it at all. Franklin was calm but still urgent in his demeanor, and I totally appreciated his proactive professionalism. Moments like these can really test any event coordinator's patience and could cause a domino effect. I don’t know exactly what happened or what he did, but all the food was there and ready to be served when it was time to eat. Our guests LOVED our wedding. They all mentioned how different and elevated our wedding was, and I’m 100% sure that had a lot to do with Franklin’s hard work. We wanted something unique, and he delivered. Overall, I’m truly grateful to have met Franklin and want to also shine some light on his assistant, Will. Both of their A, fun, efficacious attitudes just make everything better. I was able to kick back and watch my wedding day unfold beautifully. For those who work in events/entertainment, you know how hard it is to go to any event and not feel like you’re working, especially your own event (lol). Franklin is a star, and I’m sure he’s going to go far in the event business. He understands the importance of an event and how each event is personally unique. Most importantly, he takes the time to know and understand his clients.”

“We absolutely loved our wedding experience with Chicago Winery. From day 1 they made us feel so welcome, and they were genuinely excited to host and share the day with us (shoutout to Amy!). Planning was so much easier since we did not have to go elsewhere for food or drinks (plus great wine), and the venue itself does not need a lot of extra decor to achieve the vibe you want. The location is also great for guests, since they're near lots of things to do and there are plenty of hotels within walking distance. Our guests absolutely loved the different spaces the venue provides; it was a huge plus to have the terrace remain open throughout the night, so that guests who wanted a break from dancing had another space to be in and mingle. All of the staff did an incredible job, and we received a lot of compliments on the food as well. As with any wedding day I'm sure, there were a couple little details that got missed, but only myself and my husband would have noticed. Overall we had an incredible wedding day, our friends and family had a blast, and Chicago Winery was absolutely the venue for us. Ann prides herself in taking away the stress of wedding morning preparations with beauty services brought to your location and following a timeline customized to meet your needs. Please note that there is a six person hair and makeup minimum (or equal service dollar amount) requirement per booking on Friday- Sunday in April through December.

They also were excellent at upholding our notes from the trial run, and made sure I was in love with the glam. They also did my mom and sister's hair and makeup, and they were both extremely pleased with their experience. We looked good! I'm so grateful to the Beauty By Ann Krause team for making me feel my absolute best on my wedding day!”

Blair founded BW Studio after hosting a number of non-profit events and finding herself completely immersed in the process. “Blair and her team, Elly and Neva, were lifesavers for our wedding! We met her team during an open house for The Brix, the venue where we had our reception. We found out that my cousin was also working with her for his wedding and he had the most amazing things to say so we knew we were in good hands! Blair is easy to talk to and work with, professional, kind, understanding, and extremely organized! She helped us stick to our budget, coordinate with other vendors, and gave us so many recommendations and options for high quality vendors. Blair is extremely responsive! We loved how quickly she was responding to any questions we had and I also really appreciated the nudges on deadlines! We have extremely busy schedules and we travel often, so the frequent reminders and check-ins were crucial. We were grateful that there were scheduled talks intermittently throughout the planning process. It really helped us manage the timeline and logistics. If you’re a Type-A Bride, you will love the website they put together to help keep things organized (seating chart, vendors etc). On the big day, Blair and her team ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy ourselves. My husband and I highly recommend BW Studio for anyone looking to make their wedding stress-free and memorable!”

Not only was he able to accommodate my needs in such a short term notice , but he was super patient and understanding throughout the whole process . I felt blessed to have found Godfred (Gordino Photo and Video) on such a short period of time . I literally booked him a few weeks before my wedding day and I Godfred helped me with everything . Not only did he agree to change my bonus to an engagement photo session prior to the wedding day , but he also worked with me in terms of my timeline and changes of a typical wedding day schedule . “Chris rocked our worlds!!! DJs can make or break a wedding, so going into planning we were pretty nervous about this decision. Our Coordinator recommended Toast & Jam and boy are we glad she did. From our first meeting with Chris we knew we were in good hands. He was able to effortlessly blend our wildly eclectic music tastes and hyper-specific cultural songs without batting an eye. He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.”
