Birthday cake has real cake pieces, the chocolate covered strawberry had me over the moon, and every vegan or gluten-free flavor has truly impressed me. Sweet Cute is willing to work with you for custom ingredients and orders, too! They catered for an event of mine that was 150 people and were able to incorporate specific ingredient requests. The business is so easy to work with and the founder brings so much passion into her product. I even order individual pints here and there because I can’t get enough! 11/10 experience. We hired Bob Gail's dance band "Higher Ground" for our wedding last month at the Bel Air Bay Club. Having a live band at our wedding was always my dream but admittedly not my fiancee's or her family's. Any skepticsim completely evaporated by the time the wedding reception started. Our band--11 pieces, including trombone--was spectacular. I really can't say enough about how fun the evening was with Higher Ground leading the dance floor. We, and all our guests, danced non-stop. From start to finish, the band's song selections perfectly matched the energy throughout the evening. Every member was super talented, with the lead singers perfectly capturing the sound and feel of the original songs but with an energy that is only possible performed live. We were seriously impressed with their sheer versatility, jumping effortlessly between different genres and eras. We also had a few specific requests that the band very flexibily accommodated. We had choreography for our first dance and the band offered to rehearse with us before the reception. We also wanted to play some recorded songs during the band's breaks and they wove our songs into their own set list seamlessly. Bob Gail also offered a very intuitive song selection tool on which we could specify which songs we wanted to hear at the wedding. They even went out of their way to learn a song that was not part of their set list but that they knew we love. The band members were also incredibly friendly and gracious. They felt like a part of the family for the night. Even now, a month after the wedding, we still have family members tell us how great the band was and one guest even told me she can't wait to hire them for her own son's wedding no matter the cost.

The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. We love hosting all different kinds of events from weddings, to parties, fundraisers, film shoots, and even the occasional small concert.

We finally had our wedding at Playa Studios in Aug 2021, postponed from Aug 2020 by the pandemic. It's a fantastic space with high ceilings and an industrial modern feel, plus a touch of whimsy via the art work. The main event space is basically a black box and you can create any theme/layout you'd like, but it's also nice enough to use as-is if you want to keep things simple (we kept things simple). This is an indoor only space, but we were ok with that. They do have some outdoor space at the entry, but it's minimal. We loved that it wasn't a traditional wedding-type venue (think hotel ballroom), and that they host a variety of other events as well. We also appreciated the flexibility to bring in our own caterer. The venue has an extensive kitchen space included in the rental. Highly recommend you see the space for yourselves. The photos don't do it justice. It was the last on our list before we started looking, yet nothing could compare once we had our visit.

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at the Courtyard by Marriott LA Westside. Our Catering Manager, Alex Cantu was so helpful, caring, and professional. We had a short timeline from planning to our big day and all was handled with care and ease. The Palisades patio was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Indoor and outdoor, with space for our dance floor and DJ and photo booth. I want to thank the team for making it a memorable day and making it easy all the way through process.

We are a 20-room resort and can easily accommodate up to 44. We host many events throughout the year and can help make yours one your guests will never forget. We have a two-night minimum and additional nights can be added. It includes 4 event locations and sleeping arrangements for all your guests, 4 pools, 4 jacuzzis and a beautiful white sandy beach. Food and drink are not included and can be customized to fit your needs. If you choose Gran Sueño, we have incredible vendors (event planners, caterers, florists, photographers) we have worked with that we can recommend or you are welcome to use your own. Gran Sueño is a fantastic venue that we worked with for the first time a year ago, which was also the first wedding we catered to. All the staff members went above and beyond to ensure that the event was tailored to perfection. We are delighted to continue working with them in the future, as we have already done many events at their place, and every time, we felt just at home. The tight work environment is fantastic, and we express our most profound happiness in working with them. Overall, we highly recommend Gran Suena for any event. It is tough to find places that look to give the best experience to our guests and can work as a team even though we are different companies. Since we've been doing a lot of events there now we are thinking of opening up a branch in that area so we can continue giving the best service to our guests.

I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Michelle(aka Haute Mobile Disco) all the praise she deserves. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Michelle and Ian previously and found them to be so sweet and easy to work with as well as extremely professional. All of their paperwork to fill out in advance for which genres of music I wanted was super easy and helpful to get exactly the vibes we were looking for. They created the PERFECT playlist and had my guests on the dancefloor literally the entire night. I added a live Saxophone which was the perfect addition. He was incredible. It created such a fun and interactive experience for my guests that they are still raving about. Michelle was so flexible with all my crazy song choices, a few which weren’t easy to find, as well as my idea to have a re-introduction when I chopped off my hair during the reception and came back out in a sequin jumpsuit. She did the perfect introduction and made the dancefloor feel like a night at the Grammy’s instead of a humble backyard wedding. Cannot recommend Michelle and her team enough, they were everything we could have asked for and brought the best energy and vibes we were looking for!

Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

I was obsessed with my wedding hair and makeup. It was exactly what I requested (light coverage makeup that lasted all day and hair half up hair with waves that also stayed all day but wouldn’t get all knotted from a bunch of hair spray). I was crying or sweating for about 80% of the day and it all lasted perfectly without ever looking cakey/streaky/etc. As someone who never gets my hair/makeup done, I recommend doing a trial. I found I wasn’t super great at articulating what I wanted and my inspo photos were not cohesive. Tiffany was great in helping with each step and giving me different options! She is communicative and flexible. She’s also super sweet and relaxing which is the right type of energy for the morning of your wedding! I would recommend her to any of my friends.

We can’t say enough amazing things about Randall. Even though this review is long overdue, the experience he gave us has stayed with us every step of the way. We booked Randall over a year in advance, and from the very beginning, he made us feel confident and excited about our decision. Our engagement shoot was phenomenal he made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding in August 2025, Randall was professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. He made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, he and his team went above and beyond to capture every meaningful moment from the details in the bride/groom suits, the ceremony, to the energy and joy of the celebration. What truly stood out was his eye for detail and his ability to be present without ever feeling intrusive. He captured moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and now we get to relive them forever. Working with Randall was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. As both DJ and MC, James truly went the extra mile to make our day run seamlessly, and made us feel so special. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. In addition to being extremely professional, prepared, and organized, he is such a down-to-earth and kind, genuine person. He even captured some videos of our first dance and grand entrance that we wouldn't have had otherwise because we didn't have a videographer. This was so thoughtful and truly above and beyond! We personally added on the photo booth option and are glad we did, as it was a hit. His rates were very reasonable as well especially for the package we got. Everyone raved about James and the music. He made our wedding day exactly the party we hoped for - the most fun we've ever had! Highly recommend James & All The Above Events for your next wedding or big event.

Faulks Floral Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. I enjoyed working with him and had absolute confidence everything would be beautiful. I did not even go to the ceremony space or reception space to check on anything. If you're planning to have a small intimate wedding, love the vibe of DTLA and want a venue with character and values inclusivity, The Oviatt is literally the perfect choice. Bonus point for being super affordable. The Oviatt team made it really straightforward and easy for us from the jump. From the moment we inquired, Gabe got back to us really fast. He informed us immediately when another couple was interested on the date we were looking at and gave us ample time to lock it in. Lindsey and Cami were our main point of contact after signing the contract, they provide you a welcome kit with all the info you'll need (such as vendor insurance and how to acquire it, parking, rental they can provide, layout guidelines etc.) and a checklist along with their due dates for everything they'll need from you. They even have a preferred vendor list in the welcome kit which is going to help you LOADS in wedding planning. Going with one of their preferred caterers is highly recommended. Oh and their bar? 1000/10 delicious drinks. We still think about the espresso martini. seriously. The value for money is incredible considering everything you'll get and zero hidden fees! We're absolutely in love with this venue. It made our special day even more magical because of its natural charm and the Oviatt team was so lovely to work with. Not only did we fall in love with this place more, our guests did as well 3 We miss everything about this art deco hottie of a place.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! When I say that Dylan and the Moon Units MADE our wedding, I am not exaggerating. They not only delivered, the exceeded our already high expectations in every way possible. Music was extremely important for my husband and me, and we knew immediately that we wanted a live band to elevate the evening. We found Dylan and the Moon Units' information online, and after finding that they were very within our budget we reached out and Dylan invited us to one of their gigs in Hollywood. We loved their vibe and booked them. We asked Dylan to play both our ceremony and our reception, as well as play preset playlists for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour. Now, I must admit, because music was so important for my husband and my special day, we had *very* specific ideas for what we wanted. Dylan was extremely communicative, answering all of my extremely needy and detailed emails in a timely manner and doing everything he could to reassure me that we were in good hands. We made selections from the list of songs they knew, and also asked them to learn about 10 new songs for us, ranging from unique arrangements of existing songs to deep cuts from 90's movies. Dylan's communication was warm, expeditious, and professional, and I felt really well taken care of. At our wedding, though, is where they exceeded our expectations. The live music they played was amazing, and set the tone for our wedding in the exact way we were hoping for. At the reception, they kept the energy up with a perfectly curated playlist of our requests (and we had quite a lot!) songs they knew would keep the party going. Their song choices appealed to the older crowd as well as the Millennial crowd. Dylan even help me set up a surprise performance for my husband, where I sang one of this favorite songs ("Go Cubs Go") with the backing of the Moon Units band. It was an incredibly special moment. And creating special moments was what Dylan and the Moon Units did best. Somehow, they managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire evening. Months after our wedding, our guests have continuously called out Dylan and the Moon Units as an absolute highlight of our wedding, saying that it was musically one of the best weddings they have ever been to. All-in-all, I cannot recommend Dylan and the Moon Units enough. As someone who was VERY specific about the music at my wedding, they exceeded all of our expectations. Book them for your wedding ASAP - you will not be disappointed.

Aladdin Films team was a great to work with. We hired them for our engagement photos, photography, and video for our wedding. We had noticed their work from various friends. From our initial meeting with them, we knew they were professional and easy to work with. Their portfolio of work assured us that they would capture our special day in the right light. They were easy to reach by email and replied quickly whenever we had questions. On the day of the wedding, the team was fully prepared for the long day of more than 12 hours of work. The team kept it light and fun but at the same time working together to capture the day while continuously looking to outdo each other creatively. Their attention to detail was impeccable. We have only received teasers at this point and looking forward to seeing more but we know they will be great. Many of our friends viewed the photo teasers and all were blown away. Where do we even start with Tavi -- she is perfect in every way!! She's that balanced blend that we all want in a planner of detailed, fun, and gets the job done. She was there for us every step of the way, but her magic really shined through when our venue had to change 2 days before the wedding. She immediately sprung into action, secured us an incredible new venue, and made sure all vendors were onboard with the new game plan, all without us having to lift a finger. We don't know what we would have done without Tavi and will certainly be recommending her to every single friend ever, until the end of time. On top of that final hour hero swoop, she made the whole wedding look GORGEOUS. There was not a single detail she missed. She took a random box of decorations we provided, and made a magical garden of eden out of it. We got so many compliments after about how seamless the wedding was, and so many said that if we hadn't told them about the venue change, they would have been none the wiser. Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. We had a slightly unusual (or, unconventional) ceremony in a couple of ways, and Trey handled every request without any issue. Lastly, and most importantly for a DJ, he nailed the music. We felt like he "got" us while also filling in the gaps appropriately. A true professional, and we feel fortunate having him on the deck for our celebration.
