For anyone trying to decide on their wedding DJ let me tell you now, Second Song is the best out there! From the initial conversations to meeting with our DJ and to the day of, every part was so seamless and such a wonderful experience. We had chosen to work with DJ John for our wedding, and he was so amazing, friendly, and professional and we were so happy with our choice! Even when we were having a hard time deciding on what songs to choose from he worked with us to create special edits to songs we wanted to dance to for our first dance and parent dances, and it was so perfect. Our guests also loved the music, and we got several compliments that day. You will be in such great hands with Second Song and DJ John for your big day, or any event!

I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. The Moon Units were the best part of our dreamy desert wedding! If it wasn’t an open, outdoor wedding they would’ve torn off the roof (while respecting local sound ordinances, of course.) They have such a deep catalog of hits and did a great job balancing the set list between bangers that appealed to guests who came to dance and those who were a little bit shy. They kept the energy level over the top from cocktail hour through a windy night that would have sent many vendors packing up. The wind knocked the venue power out halfway through the set, and they didn’t miss a beat while the venue got generators online for their electric amps. They kept the party going into the night, and looked like they were having as much fun as we were, despite falling amps and heat lamps! The guests were raving about them: - ‘I felt like I was back in high school, dancing with reckless abandon!’ - ‘ I have never seen my parents dance, but they didn’t leave the dance floor’ They couldn’t have been nicer to work with, and we are thankful for their part in our perfect day!

Hiring Tavi was easily the best thing we could have done for ourselves when we started wedding planning. We really had no idea what we were doing, I was super anxious about everything, and Tavi guided us through it all with grace, expertise, and humor. She helped us figure out what we actually wanted our wedding to look like (a rainbow fruit and vegetable disco party), what was important to us, our budget, our vendors, and most importantly, she kept me from losing my mind (which, let's be honest, is probably the biggest reason you hire a wedding planner, right?). She put together an amazing vendor team that brought our vision to life even more than we could have hoped for. After the wedding, we got so many compliments about how great it was, and how it was the best wedding they'd been to, no exaggeration. DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! He also was fantastic in making sure all of the music played on their appropriate cues and was well-prepared. He was great to work with for our wedding and we can’t wait to throw another party just so we have an excuse to use DJ Trey again!

10/10 Nick and I had the pleasure of working with Lulan and Sarah on our wedding day. They were exactly on time and prepared. They were so attentive, patient, and responsive to us. Never intrusive or demanding. Their direction felt very easy and natural; it made the unnatural process of taking hundreds of photos feel so seamless and easy. I loved that they took advantage of the space and venue. They have such a fantastic eye for composition and scale - my favorites are the wide shots that capture the cityscape behind. I cannot say enough good things about LAdigitalPhoto! When I first contacted them to inquire about videography, I got an instant response. Tom answered my millions of questions & sent me photos & videos they had shot at my venue in the past. I felt like a friend, not a customer so I was not hesitant to book. Tom did a great job of building an instant relationship & trust. We kept contact up until the day about details as they unfolded. Brides you know how planning can get the best of you & everything becomes a blur. I totally forgot about having a videographer the day of because everything was chaos until he showed up right on time, of course! We were blessed to get Christian who is an absolute gem! Him & my photographer instantly started working together & they totally clicked, it was awesome. Christian went above & beyond, not to mention he was such a sweetheart. We were SO picky about our DJ. We know that good music has the power to either elevate (or ruin) an event. We were super nervous but Dart Collective was the answer we needed. The benefit of booking through them is you're able to fill out a "Music Map" where you answer questions like "What is a MUST PLAY"? or "What artist(s) to avoid?" It's rather extensive (took us about 2-3hrs to complete). BUT - totally worth it. Through this map, they pair you with an available DJ, in your area, that has the experience the same music taste as you. It's a pretty great formula. We were nervous for the months leading up because we just weren't sure if they were going to match us properly. But, they definitely exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint is that it was SO GOOD that we wanted more, lol! Book! You won't regret it.
