“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Our event planner Morgan was phenomenal. She kept us on track, checking in regularly and responding in a timely manner to our every small question. Once the time came for our wedding weekend, Buttermilk Falls exceeded our expectations. Our families loved our welcome event with freshly made pizza and the best charcuterie. The kids in our family loved exploring the grounds and seeing all the animals. Our wedding day was magical despite it raining precisely during our outdoor ceremony, and the barn was the perfect spot for our group of 75 to eat, drink, and dance the night away! THE FOOD AT BUTTERMILK FALLS IS ALSO PHENOMENAL. Truly cannot be said enough. The ingredients are fresh, the menus are thoughtful and the staff is incredible.
