“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. “My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. “My partner and I planned a wedding in less than 6 months at Buttermilk Falls. From the minute we stepped on the property, we knew we loved it. The grounds are so well kept, the event planners and staff are so friendly! There are several options for your big day and no hidden fees when working with the folks here. Our event planner Morgan was phenomenal. She kept us on track, checking in regularly and responding in a timely manner to our every small question. Once the time came for our wedding weekend, Buttermilk Falls exceeded our expectations. Our families loved our welcome event with freshly made pizza and the best charcuterie. The kids in our family loved exploring the grounds and seeing all the animals. Our wedding day was magical despite it raining precisely during our outdoor ceremony, and the barn was the perfect spot for our group of 75 to eat, drink, and dance the night away! THE FOOD AT BUTTERMILK FALLS IS ALSO PHENOMENAL. Truly cannot be said enough. The ingredients are fresh, the menus are thoughtful and the staff is incredible. I highly recommend this venue and would absolutely plan a wedding here again if I had to do it over. You will not be disappointed!”

“Booking Locust Grove Estate was the best decision I made during wedding planning. The venue is stunning and yet so affordable. Locust Grove provides the space, the arch, and the chairs, but does not require you to book with their preferred vendors. Because of this, you can design your day exactly as you want it to be and within your own budget. We got so many compliments on the location, which is a Hudson Valley oasis nestled in Poughkeepsie, with beautiful gardens and views of the Hudson river. You get the best of both worlds with Locust Grove because your ceremony can be outside but the reception space is indoors and has AC. There is a Courtyard Marriott next door and a walking path connects the two properties, which was super convenient for our guests and saved us the expense of providing transportation. I could not recommend Locust Grove Estate enough!”

Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!”
