They had a detailed plan A and plan B in place to account for potential weather issues, and even asked us to bring in extra decor items a couple days early so they could have everything ready and waiting for our wedding coordinators. Every single staff member, especially Isabella and Kelly, were phenomenal to work with. We actually found this venue just 40 days before our wedding, as our previous venue could not accommodate our increased guest count. The Odyssey Venue made our day truly magical and one that we will never forget. If we could do it all over again, we would choose them in a heartbeat - no hesitation whatsoever!”

“I had Suzana Roman for my bridal makeup in July 2024. She not only did an AMAZING job with the makeup, but was only communicative, professional, and punctual. I had a large bridal party with 10 people (including me) wanting makeup. I also had a variety of needs (full face, airbrush, just eye makeup, just lashes, etc.). She did an amazing job making my entire party feel comfortable with their makeup choices and highlighting their wants and requests. She was also extremely punctual given the amount of women that needed makeup! Most of my bridal party wears minimal makeup and she did a great job highlighting their natural makeup looks while still making them "photo ready". All women were 100% satisfied with their makeup looks and all were pleasantly surprised with the cost. AND the makeup stayed on ALL day - through tears, the heat, and dancing! Suzanna was friendly, professional, and funny! She was a joy to work with and I recommend hiring her for your wedding or any other big event where you need makeup!”

“From the first phone call to the end of our wedding reception, The Walk Ins were incredible. Joe, the band lead, was so beyond helpful the entire way. I knew after that initial consult that this was the band I was going to hire because of how fun, friendly, helpful and energized he was. This is his passion, for sure! We met with Joe several times to finalize the timeline and music for the day, he really takes the time to make sure it goes as perfect as possible. Joe is not "just" the band lead, he knows how to run the entire show! He's basically a day of coordinator who will make sure your timeline is followed to the very minute. Seriously, he gave us so much advice and it all worked out beautifully. Now the music.... WOW. We had the full 8pc band and it. was. perfect. I've wanted a live band at my wedding since I was a child and The Walks Ins delivered! People danced ALL night. The sound was amazing. Transitions were beautiful. The Walk Ins kept the party going and weeks later we are still receiving so many compliments from guests. I don't even want to imagine what the big day would've been like without The Walk Ins. I cannot recommend them enough. Heads up -- they also play at music festivals (oak lawn fall music fest for one), restaurants, and suburban pavilions (i.e., New Lenox) so you can catch them year round!”

Our photographer was Florin and he was amazing!!! Attentive, respectful, honest and personable. He made our experience so easy and we did not worry about capturing every important morning of our day. He posed us in creative ways while also taking traditional shots, made sure we had enough photos with everyone we wanted to take it with (we had a group of friends/family with us), and he made suggestions that we ended up loving as far as location/poses. The quality of the photos is very clear and high quality! We enjoyed the filters and editing that was done as well; it was not overdone. “We just had our wedding at Chicago Winery in December and it was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful and speaks for itself - very little decor needed. It's particularly beautiful for a fall/winter "dinner party" vibe (which is what we were looking for) with the dark wood and dim lights. Chris was our venue coordinator and he was amazing - answering our million questions and helping make the day go exactly as we hoped! The food was also amazing - even better than the tasting which was a delight :) We had SO many guests come up to us raving about the space and the food, which is all you could hope for! “I don’t even know where to begin. As a former wedding photographer I found Walden while shooting a wedding years ago and was blown away by the space and service. When we got engaged they were the first venue I contacted for a tour and every single step along the way has reaffirmed that there’s no team I would rather have for our wedding. Maria, the owner was so fantastic for the first walk through and all of the communication was thorough and quick. Matt, the bar manager was phenomenal and everyone raved about our welcome and signature drinks. He worked with us to come up with exactly what we wanted and they tasted phenomenal. Forever in love with our fall welcome drink and my Prickly Pear Mojito. Nick, the co-owner and head chef was SO prompt with his responses and the food was to die for. As a former wedding vendor I know wedding food is typically sub par and that was 90% of my deciding factor for where we booked. EVERYTHING is amazing. He even worked with us to do items off the menu with our request to bring in some of our culture. Loved every second of it and was so sad when I had to accept we’re done with their cooking. The service team, literally all of them from start to finish were the most exceptional people I’ve encountered. So thorough, caring, and attentive. Never did I have to wait or wonder where anything was or what was happening next. They checked on us non stop and were always ready with another drink or hors d'oeuvre. Truly exceptional. Finally, to our two amazing planners. I don’t have the words. Krystle and Alyssa MADE our day, week, year. Always ready to provide input, be a sounding board, and go the extra mile. Plus, they have incredible taste in music and hometowns lol. Just speechless with you two. All of our gratitude and love forever. All in all just absolutely exceptional. “Flowers for Dreams was an early choice for us because they offered a great a la carte set up that made it easy for us to get really excellent floral at a cost that made sense for us. We worked with Rachael, and Paytin ahead of the wedding who did an excellent job working with us on custom requests and on logistical details. Their on-the-ground team was also excellent and hard working. They really did a lot to make the venue look incredible for an excellent rate.”

“We can not recommend IG PHOTO VIDEO INC enough. We had Tetyana and Egidijus as our photographers and Irad as our videographer. We also were in contact with Ivan. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. From introducing us to Tetyana, Egidijus and Irad, How the process would happen from start to finish to getting our photos and videos back. The photos and video blew us out of the water. We are so in awe of the work and quality they put into our day. They were truly the best to work with from start to finish. The only thing is we have so many pictures I can not choose a favorite. (But that's a great problem to have) They truly captured my husband and I in our photos and videos and we are so blessed we came across their page. This company is 100 percent worth the money and we wouldn't have changed a single thing. You guys were amazing in person and in your work! You can definitely tell they love what they do by the work they produce.
