Hi, I’m Sarah (she/they), a wedding photographer based in the Adirondacks of New York. I photograph weddings with care, intention, and a deep respect for the moments that matter most for couples of all identities and love stories.

I've been making pictures since 2006. After pursuing a degree in Photojournalism from RIT, I've had a unique journey through the professional photographic world, from staff and freelance work for news outlets, to assisting and production roles on commercial, documentary and editorial projects. I enjoy photographing nature and the night sky, too, in addition to personal projects. I’ve basically always got a camera with me. Through all of this time I have also been photographing weddings, which I view as an assignment that requires me to employ skills from all of the different areas of photography I've worked in.

Ever since I have had photography in my life I have always wanted to capture all types of love people share with each other, no matter who they are, who they love, or where they’re from. To be able to share stories through photos has always been a passion of mine and I hope to continue on this path indefinitely.

Between Jeff and I, we have four adult children, all of whom followed their own destinies and now live in different states. This is one of those moments that I look around my house and am thankful for all the framed art I have of them throughout the years, each one with a special memory attached to it. Once I had kids, my camera never left my hand. Special events, holidays, family get-togethers, and everyday life, I wanted to have them all documented.
