I grew up in a big family of chefs and grandmas who made every gathering revolve around food, which shaped my love for cooking and hosting. Originally from Michigan, I moved to the Pacific Northwest drawn by its beauty and culture of sustainability. After earning a master’s in environmental sustainability, I rooted myself in Portland and began cooking for friends. What started as small supper clubs grew into creating thoughtful, seasonal meals for micro weddings, private dinners, and weekly meal prep.

Salt & Ember is built on intentional, personal food experiences, never cookie‑cutter menus or generic packages. Sustainability guides everything we do, from choosing seasonal, local ingredients to reducing waste. We take time to understand your style and vision so the food feels like an extension of your atmosphere. Whether it’s a micro wedding, private dinner, or weekly meals, we create dishes that are warm, elevated, and rooted in the Pacific Northwest. As a boutique catering service, we accommodate events of 80 guests and under to ensure exceptional ingredients, thoughtful service, and the elevated experience we’re known for.
